Why couldn't it just be emailed?
Expensive for a credit card piece of card/plastic with a code on it. Shame it couldn't have been emailed to me instead. However it worked perfectly and enabled 4 more cameras on my system.

Great product at realistic price.
Does what it says. 4 cam license key. Cheaper than anywhere else I could find. Not specifically the key, but the Synology product is totally amazing. Reliable, rock solid and great value. What’s not to like. Some cmplain about the cost but the H.264 encoding is not opensource and must be licensed by Synology, so I think it’s grest value overall.

Excellent product for a great NAS box
Easy to apply, extra cameras available immediately and they are transferrable, unlike some others, so, if you upgrade your Synology NAS to a bigger Synology box you can take the camera licences with you., Genius!

Love synology survaliance station lots of great features but a bit miffed about having to buy licence packs when I already spent a fortune on the Nas device.Other thing I hate is you have to be so careful with their software updates - there seems to a be a lack of testing on them! A few times the updates have knocked out my camerasOne star knocked off for each negative

EXPENSIVE? YES, BUT WORTH IT.
What can you say about this? If you want more than the two free camera licences which come with your Synology NAS, you can buy them singley, or in this pack of four. Very easy to install and no troubles. I only wish they were a bit cheaper. But the Synology Surveillance station is a great product so I did accept the (high) price.

Overpriced
Excellent. Not much to say about this apart from it doing exactly as it is suppose to. But is overpriced. You certainly will not be disappointed.Great purchase.Highly recommended.

Ridiculous pricing for what it delivers...
I give this a very generous two stars. It probably doesn't merit even one of them.My concern isn't what Surveillance Station does. On the contrary, as far as what it does, its generally quite a good program - albeit I have three cameras that are allegedly 'Onvif 2.0 compliant', that Surveillance Station point blank refuses to recognise. (Perhaps my fault for not remembering the old adage. Buy cheap, buy twice....)No - my issue with this is not that I have cameras that don't work with it. It's that a £40 charge per camera is a wholly unjustifiable price, considering that a version of BlueIris (a very good Windows program that does broadly the same function) will support an unlimited number of cameras for little more than the cost of a single Synology surveillance station camera license.Even worse still, a Linux program called ZoneMinder costs precisely nothing - and delivers most of what surveillance station does for a download, and a bit of configuration. You can even trawl amazon and find entire multi-camera systems, including a central management station - for less than the cost of a four camera license. No - 40 quid a camera, is unjustifiable. I'd use stronger language, but my review would never make it past the approval stage.Whilst I wanted to use S-Station as the central management tool for my domestic CCTV platform, it looks as though I'm going to have to go down the software route. Much as I'd love this solution to work as a 'one box' tool, the limited support of various camera types, and the sheer cost of licenses will make a reversion to a software based solution much more cost effective in my case. If you have a choice, consider carefully before going down the synology route. For anything but a minimal system, the cost is hidden, and crippling. In other words, don't buy unless money is no object, and you are using expensive brand-name IP cameras that are advertised as being supported by Surveillance Station. And even then - consider the alternatives first.
