Microphone Matching Transformer

It does what it says onr the tin
I tested it by feeding a low Z dynamic mic into the High Z input of a valve guitar amp...Plenty of level. One moan, the cable is not restrained where it exits the transformer.Dave.

Just plug it in, and it works.
Simple to use adapter that enables, for example, a microphone to be used with guitar effects pedals, to add effects to vocals. Especially useful.qith guitar multi effects units, it is robustly made, this version with a short length of cable seems to be the most versatile. You just plug it in, add your mic and it works.

Doesn't suit all mics
Had to send back as poorly matched with my SM58s and AKG - actually made them quieter on both switch settings! To the supplier's great credit the refund was without quibble.

Does the job!
I needed this kind of converter so that I could use my guitar effects with a microphone.Simply plug the mic into the converter and plug it into the effects and you are good to go.No added noise worked without any fuss and couldn't be happier with it.Note, to go back into a mixing desk or PA, I did use a DI box, to go from the unbalanced signal from the pedals to a balanced XLR cable. In the picture, you can see this on the top left.

Good device, lacks any information.
Quite a nifty gadget for matching low impedence mics to to high impedance inputs such as amps and pedals, I used with an SM-58. I think it can be used for reamping line to instrument.Only snag with this product is the total lack of information, bar what it says on the device. Though if you have experience, it's abit self explainatory, otherwise it's guesswork using this device properley.

A well designed product.
Everything about this transaction was good. Price, delivery, product. Does what it says on the tin. The flexible wire is an extremely good idea that works very well, because otherwise the long and relatively heavy transformer section would have to go directly into the socket, thus stressing it. As it is, the heavy component hangs down and its connecting wire (to the microphone) does not stress the socket. It is well designed in this respect. Also it is of good quality. I am pleased with it, and it performs well. Buy it and enjoy!
