Worked for about 2 hours, now useless.To start with it worked fine, set the oven to 70C and it reported in as between 69 and 71C so obvious working. The I used it to measure the temp of a pot of hot liquid ( I was brewing beer) it started off fine with what seemed to be accurate readings but then it stuck around 40C.so now its reporting abiant ar as 40C boiling water as 120C and the freezer as 4c. The problem is with the probe not the unit, apparently this is a common fault on all the cheep Chinese models

I've only used this once so far, but it is a great device! We only had one surprise when using it all day in our smoker. It times out after several hours and does not show the actual temperature until you turn it back on. We almost overcooked our prime rib but caught it in time. We could carry the receiver inside the house and it still worked great. We hope this lasts for many years to come.

The Sender unit has its own digital display, The sender also has a stand that you can use as a door hook.The Display on both unit or very Clear to read. A little small on the sender. Plug in the Probe, The screen light up with the display, The setting and buttons are easy to use. Place the sender's Probe into the Cooking beef, chicken, pork, etc. Inside the house, Or I have used it for the BBQ. The receiver is set to the Temperature you want, And the Wireless receiver with LCD display, will beeps and flashes when at meat temperature Place the Receiver in your pocket etc. You do not have to stand over it. I have always worried about the Temp of the BBQ. Overall an Excellent Designed and Made Digital Unit. Overall an excellent Set.
