This is amazing book! I am so happy I bought it! I think this book is cheep to compare with the good pattern carried and good instruction! I am sure will help me so much as I am taking my bachelor in textile design. I didn't expect it has many pages! I will recommend to others.

Not what I was expecting. Clear consice upto date with great illustrations and instructions. Probably not for complete beginners but easy to follow if you have a basic understanding.

Delivery: Fast but my book came already damaged, you can see from the pictures, I'm a bit dissapointed cause I will be using this book for a long time. Content: I have attached pictures of the content that will be useful to know before buying this book. Book itself is amazing, has a lot of patterns and very well explained, but I didn't find the essential ones such as female slim fit shirt or female blazer, would have been nice to have at least one of each, instead of hundreds of old-fashioned blouses or dresses. Male part is small but well explained. You also won't find any shirt or pants patterns here. To summarize: It's a great book but you will definitely need Vol.1 as well cause you won't find everything here. Little update: I started using this book and found out a lot of important moments that are not explained at all, dissapointed.

Great book but a big let down is that it does not have any measurements or ease. Spotted a mistake in the first bodice block. Thinking about returning it. Would have been 5 stars if it had measurements and ease.

I have the series in Italian and really happy they have been released in English. There is no better patternmaking books for the price. Not only is the price good, the amount to technical information the actual designs and clothing styles are much more current and up-to-date then most all the others available on the market. Uses metric which is by far the best for patterndrafting and takes no effort to use as you do not have to figure out complicated fractions. The series is for the beginner to advanced patternmaker and are full of easy to understand diagrams and information. Designs for men and women, great lingerie in Vol.2 and knit tees and dresses. You will want to make sure you have Vol.1. ( it has a great legging pattern). You can find lots on inexpensive metric pattern drafting rulers here on Amazon as well as papers for patterns, medical exam paper is great for making the patterns you will be cutting out. I use both the smooth and the crepe, crepe is not as easy to see through but stronger and longer lasting. まあ、ファッション パターンメイキング テクニックというタイトルですので、必然的に女性用が多いのはあたりまえですが、女性用がメインです。で、採寸して一からパターンが作れるので、とても良いと思います。 少し残念なのが、タイトルに反して、男性用はジャケット、ウエストコートだけで、下着のパターンがないのです。女性用下着はバリエーションも豊富で、だいぶ差があります。星を減らすほどではないのですが、そこが少し残念です。 個人的には、全体的な内容は素晴らしいと思いますが、もう少し男性用パターンの作り方も、欲しいです。
