This mat is a good idea, great way to work on your golf swing.The only downfall, is that it is kind of small and thin. However, if you stake it down it is more than effective.Nice overall product, so far seems to work great.It is a very good visual tool and can certainly show you how your hitting the ball so you can correct it.I only gave it a four star- due to the thickness and size. Otherwise, good product!

Have only hit about 30 shots on it, already starting to flake apart and not quite resetting itself when you swipe backwards to get your full color of green. Got a bit of white color staying on the pad when swiping back it should all be green ???? Already getting pieces of the material on the mat in front of the hitting pad ? I will hit a little bit more on it this week and decide send it back or not before it’s a week old !

Not bad for a hitting mat that is under $30. The rubber piece to hook the mat ripped right off in a couple of swings, but I didn't need it anyway. Had it for about a month now and it's still in pretty good shape.

Got this as a present for my father-in-law but we all loved using it. This particular item comes with extra stakes so you can pin it down in more places and it makes a huge difference.We all took turns- better golfers faired better but after a few swings we could already visualize what was needed to correct the swing. With long winters here I see them using it for years to come. Would recommend this exact mat to others!

The design doesn't make sense. The stake goes in the front of the mat (it's one directional based on the pegs), even though it ought to go in the back (away from the direction of the swing). This is made clear when you accidentally hit a stake and break it. The top mat also doesn't fit well on the rubber mat. It's too big, making the surface uneven and wobbly.Overall, the whole thing is cheap. Things are gonna tear, and this thing might as well be considered disposable (maybe they should sell the rubber mat and the top mat separately?).However, it does work as expected, and it's pretty cool. Whether or not this will improve your swing is another question (probably dependent on your skill level, etc.), but this immediate visual feedback is nice regardless.Maybe it's worth the price to try out this kind of product, but be prepared to have to upgrade if you do end up liking it.

Seems to be good quality, the sequins haven’t started falling off yet, although it has only been a few days. Easy to reset by running club the opposite direction. I found that it’s much easier to secure onto something else, such as a piece of carpet, rather than staking into the ground

It certainly is not built to last a long time or take a beating, but for a few practice swings every now and then to dial in or check your swing path, it works just fine. For the price point, no complaints.
