Whilst building the extension, the electrician broke the previous one when attempting to take it off. We wanted to make sure it was the same switch. Works as intended.

This is a very good unit. The markings and a screw socket per wire make this a very easy unit to install. The switches have a solid rocker action and the neon ‘power on’ lights shining through a thinner rounded rectangle of Bakelite is genius and looks great.I’d say this is the best I’ve used over the years.

It has separate terminals for the Supply and Load cables for convenience and a better connection. If replacing the Load cable in the future there is no need to disturb the Supply cable. It has a built in cord grip for the Load cable. It includes 4 screw covers. It requires a backbox of 30mm minimum depth, although you could use a 25mm backbox plus a 10mm spacer (not included). If you are fitting a new backbox a 47mm depth is recommended.

Good quality item; easy to fit and secure the wires. Worked perfectly for a built in oven. I needed to remove the three pin plug and replace the socket since my new oven was deeper than the old one.
