I bought this for my dad along with a brush. He really likes it and said it reminds him of his grandad shaving. Just bought him a replacement pot as he mentioned he had run out.I've also bought my partner the tobacco leaf version and he loves it, says it creamy and moisturising and gives a nice shave.

I have been buying this shaving cream for years.It gives you that good feel factor when having a wet shave. Shaving foam is just not good enough.Well worth the money. I sincerely hope that this company continues for the foreseeable future.

A pleasant soap in every respect. The scent is pleasing and restrained as suits a shaving soap. If scent is required then this is best provided by the vast selection of lotions, balms and creams which are widely available.

Creamy, glidey, goes far, moisturises skin. The best I’ve used.

I've been through a lot of Taylor's products and I this is one of my favourites up there with Jermyn street.It doesn't smell that impressive out the tub, it smells soapy and generally not that complex, but when warmed up and produced into warm thick creamy lather which it very well produces indeed, many notes of spices and ginger come out the woodwork. The lather also, is quite thick compared to other Taylor creams, most notably my last tub, shaving shop, although very perfumy and a good smeller Mr Taylors produces a much creamier lather and I prefer that.Although not as suitable for sensitive skin as Rose or Jermyn street, this is worth your interest if your last tub of shaving cream is starting to run out...

I have been trying various shaving creams and soaps since Wilkinson's Sword shaving soap vanished from my local Boots. The first thing I discovered was just how truly awful the Wilkinson's Sword stuff is. Of those I have tried so far (and they all stand head and shoulders above the WS stuff) this is the best. As a cream it gives a rich, creamy lather with just a tiny amount on the brush. It's unscented too. Watch out for that, some are distinctly scented. This is my favourite so far, try it, you won't be disappointed.

Usual quality lather . Had the cedar and the sandlewood in these creams and they're both nice and subtle in smell. This one is just quality soap smell , I think I prefer it , very clean

He probado unas 3 shaving soap/cream y tengo que decir que este es el mejor con creces. Me he podido afeitar la barba y toda la cabeza 2 veces (con maquinilla de doble filo) y aún quedó espuma en el bol, usando solo un dedo de la crema (tamaño almendra). Eso sí, con un bol (de cocina) y brocha Omega de tejón, que ayuda mucho a hacer más espuma. El aroma es muy bueno pero no intrusivo, dificil de describir (floral?). Por 11/13 euros está muy bien, es cara comparada con lo que podemos comprar en el super (La Toja, por ejemplo) pero es lo que tiene la importación y un producto que considero de mayor calidad a nivel mundial. Probaré las variantes de almendra y de sándalo, sin duda.
