I bought two of these lights two years ago for illuminating my two music stands when playing my instruments. I now use one of them for my side table next to my reading chair in the living room. The adjustments for the light type and intensity are what you might expect on a "high-end" light, it's just perfect! I am getting a couple more of these lights and saw some reviews nit-picking either the assembly of the power cord or the light base being too flimsy, not true. This light is very stable, easy to use and has an understated elegance. Accidentally bumping the light will not topple it and the firm adjustable neck coil holds the light firmly in place. It's a solid fixture to be used anywhere in the house or shop. I don't write many reviews, but this light deserves some of my time as I feel it's a great bargain. I hope you give this a try. And remember, you get what you pay for with bargain priced lights, this is just a bargain...period.

What a great light. The base is heavy enough that you can adjust the goose neck to almost any position and the lamp does not topple over. The controls are easy to see and are not overly sensitive; my elderly relative has no trouble using them. It was pretty easy to put together. It puts out a bright, wide ranging light that covers a wide surface area (and yes, the lighting color mode and brightness can be adjusted very easily.) Best of all, my relative says they went from being able to read only a few minutes at a time (eyes tearing and strained with other lighting) to being able to read for very long periods of time (with no eyestrain at all using this lamp.) Be prepared, the base is large compared to other lamps, but we are extremely happy with this product and highly recommend it!

Easy to assemble, use, and position. The brightness and temperature settings work well and provide plenty of comfortable light. Good value. Caveat: I have only had it for 1 day.

This is a nice lamp. There is a power button and a slider to control the light from dim to bright. The arm is bendable, and the light itself can be turned to control any glare. I am very pleased with this as a desk lamp and it can also be turned up or toward the wall for indirect lighting.

Nice light wt desk lamp. Good overall brightness with several different setting. Lamp head adjust to what ever position u need. Can be placed on the floor for extra side or botton lighting... Good price and value...

I had a 12" fluorescent lamp on my desk with a large heavy base for 30 years. This is is so much smaller and brighter with adjustable color and brightness. Should have bought sooner!
