I’ve been eating green coconuts for my entire life ( 43 years old) this tool is transformative. Up until now your only alternative was to dangerously hack at your hand with a machete and then spill some percentage of the juice. This tool is so easy that you can use it on your lap. And barely a drop his wasted. I cannot recommend this enough. This is the greatest product of its type.

Just to give a background: we have a farm in South Florida where we had planted a lot of coconut trees which have now started fruiting. I have always enjoyed drinking fresh coconut water but opening the coconut has been such a pain. I always used a machete to open them since that's how everyone gets to the water in the coconut. So while searching for a better solution I found this product on Amazon. I was very skeptical but decided to give it a try since it was relatively inexpensive and figured if it fails, at least I would be able to use the stainless steel straws. Boy was I surprised! I followed the included instructions and it was so easy to open the coconut up to get the water. I decided to use it for a few days before giving my verdict. I am happy to say that it has worked every time I have tried. The instructions were easy to follow and made me wonder why I ever bothered with the machete. The instructions clearly mention that it will only work with the young coconuts so I have not tried it with the mature ones. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.
