My son went crazy with his bed! It is very well made and sturdy. It was a little hard to assemble since some parts didn't line up properly but at least it was something that could be fixed. The bed is absolutely beautiful! The delivery process was fast and easy. Communication with the carrier was great. The only thing is that I paid extra to have it delivered to a room of choice and due to recent developments (COVID-19), the carrier was not allowed to do that, which I completely understand! My boxes were placed in my garage and my husband and I carried them upstairs which was not difficult. The boxes are very big so fitting them through doorways may be tricky. Everything is nicely packaged and protected. I highly recommend this item!!

It came in three large boxes and the items were we'll protected. The directions were easy to see but there were no words. Follow the directions carefully. I had to un-unscrew the metal brace between the doors and reattach the side cushions for it to fit perfectly, but it was easy. It took the longest to find where the power plug went into the car, under the front bumper. Check the 2 white connectors under the doors. it easy to not fully insert them Hint: use your phone in selfE mode to see under doors. When finished I turned out the lights and told my son which buttons to press on the remote when he entered the room. He listened and then he lit up. He was so excited and loved it so much. "It's the best bed ever and we're the greatest mom and dad ever." lol it was a wonderful moment. Con: the base that the mattress sits on is particle board and can break easily with a 4-8 yr old jumping on it. I told the kids not to jump on the bed but kids are kids. I'd suggest the company use solid wood planks instead, and with aluminum/steel reinforcement. Hint: I'm going to get a 4'x8' sheet of plywood and cut it to fit and lay it over the existing base. Two, 2'x2' smaller sheets of plywood placed in the center will probably work for those that don't have tools. home depot sells them. Or put wood blocks under the bed to act like post for the middle of the bed, that should work fine too. And we put the plastic, "windows" up until the excitement calms down and my boys a little older, he will break them by climbing in and out. Overall, it's awesome. P.S I hope it holds up. And, the car company should just sell the remote as a seperate item so I can go ahead and buy another one now. It's the only way to turn it lights on and off. In a week that remote will be lost for days. The bed company could add back up buttons on the car. That would be nice.

Here's an update to my review 3 years after purchasing this bed. Beds should not be made of plastic & particle board! In hindsight I wish we would have bought our son a real bed made of wood, not spent far more money on a novelty like this. First of all, we started getting cracking in the plastic at the foot of the bed roughly a year after getting it. This was from having to pull the mattress completely out every single time we had to change the sheets, because the foot of the bed goes over the foot of the mattress, making it impossible to change the sheets without pulling the mattress out. Some of the under bed lights stopped working a couple months ago (don't know why). But the final blow happened tonight at bedtime. The particle boards which hold the mattress up broke. The mattress is now on the floor and we have to figure out how to fix this, because $1600 is a little too much to spend on a bed just to have to replace it 3 years later. Below is the review I left 3 years ago after we first purchased & assembled it. ------------------------------------------------ Pros - my son absolutely loves this bed! And it arrived very quickly. Cons - not easy to assemble. It took two of us just over two hours to put this together. The front end of the car did not attach easily to the sides and the windows did not easily attach. - the front of the car (or footboard of the bed) goes about 2 inches over the end of the mattress. This probably wouldn't have been as big of an issue if we had been able to find an 8" mattress. We had to get a 10 inch mattress. So even at the lowest setting, it is nearly impossible to change the sheets. I have to pull the whole mattress out and balance it on the top of the bed. Huge pain in the rear.

It took us some time to resolve the issue with the bed but the company reached out and sent us the replacement part. It was very nice of them! The furniture looks cool - my son loves it. Not easy to assemble but doable.

This is by far the most spectacular car bed I have seen - well worth the higher price tag. Our little guy loves his car bed. The bed is extremely solid and sturdy. The lights are amazing and the upholstery is beautiful. Very high gloss paint finish - honestly an amazing bed for your little car enthusiasts.

Like others, one side didn't light up. Customer service was eager to help and easy to communicate with, but I was moving in to a new house at the time, and it took a LOT of back and forth emailing to get it resolved. They were walking me through swapping cables, sending pictures/videos to diagnose the problem, etc. It was time consuming and I wasn't always prompt in my responses because of my move. Nonetheless it was finally resolved, and when the part was identified I got it quickly. Ultimately for me, this is such a sweet time in my son's life (7) and the bed is so fantastic it was worth the hassle to do something special while he's of an age to enjoy something like this. Pros: Bed is stunning. As videos/ pictures describe. Initial assembly wasn't that bad with help. Customer service was responsive and helpful. Cons: Gets loud. Customer service asked for pictures/ videos, I was changing out cables from side to side to diagnose the problem. Bed remained in tact, bit this got tedious quickly. Having to remove mattress to change sheets adds about 5 minutes to the process. Annoying but not a deal breaker.

This is the coolest car bed ever. It has lights, animations, everything. Comes with a strawberry shaped remote control. The body is plastic but seems very sturdy and good quality. The leather seats are great with a lot of details on this car. You wouldn't regret it. I like the underbody lights which can be used as night lights for my daughter too. Very satisfied.
