I've used this yeast strand many times and have always found good results for high ABV mead. It ferments dry as long as there is enough air put into the must before pitching the yeast. I wish that it came in a smaller 2 or 3 pack instead of 5 or 10. I typically don't use the whole pack in one batch of brewing, and the rest goes bad by the time I brew again. I store mine in the fridge to last longer, which does seem to work better than a cupboard.

I use this consistently for hard apple cider and it works well, and when refrigerated has a good storage life... even a package expired for a year and a half bounced-back with some encouragement. Makes great hard cider!

This was o. K. Not as robust as i would have liked, but will try it again.

These yeast packets were not out of date and I'm using one right now. A previous supplier a few years ago did send me yeast that was out of date.

Have yet to use, but came on-time

Yeast took right off fast (about 6 hours and we were bubbling like crazy) in our strawberry mead. Tastes great, easy to use. Alcohol content at mid-level around 13%. Fresh taste.
