I have a 2012 Ram 1500 Express. The cap works fine once you get the hang of locking it. I have mine on a coiled lanyard. The key is easy to drop if you don’t. I can’t imagine the filler gas pipe has changed so you should be OK.

I don’t know if it will fit your Buick or not. It was supposed to fit my 2011 Toyota Tundra, but didn’t.
