Heartwarming read
I've really enjoyed these two hooks Archers Voice and Travis.Brothers but not brought up together, overcoming tragedy and grief. In this book Travis having been abandoned by his Father grows up believing he is second best.A young girl called Haven on a road trip from CalifornIa catches his heart but will he be second best again.A story of rivalry, revenge and love, friendships and family.

A must read.
Great follow up to Archer's voice. Loved going back to Pelion. I did reread Archer's voice before reading this book - any excuse to reread it! I wasn't sure if Travis could redeem himself but he certainly did. As always Mia smashed it! Love all of Mia's books. I can't wait for the next 💜

A good second book!
Not as good or original as Archers voice but a good follow-on book nevertheless.Travis was pretty nasty in Archers voice, and I didn't particularly want to like him; however you do at least get to understand why he was in this book when he falls for Haven who hails from California. After Archer takes over the town Travis is left pretty broke, but this is his redemption in a way.A good story with good characters. I did find some bits a tad unbelievable, like Archer owns the town but still lives in his tiny cottage with his wife and three children! He seemed to have plenty of land couldn't he build on, or build a bigger place on the land? Also he surely would have helped Travis out with building a house as they had become close brothers? An enjoyable read though, and nice to catch up with Archer and Bree.

All the stars!
Let me preface this review by stating - Mia Sheridan can do no wrong in my eyes. Each of her books is an experience like no other. You don't just READ her stories; you INHABIT them. You become entirely immersed in the people and places; and Pelion has been a large part of my book loving heart since I first discovered Archer and Bree so to get to revisit this place with these amazingly well fleshed out characters was a pure joy.*****So onto my thoughts about Travis.I really wondered HOW he could possibly be redeemed after the events of Archer's Voice. Like, I had no idea how she could do it - but oh man, she did it and then some!! I LOVE a complex hero with a closet full of demons and Travis Hale fits that bill to a T. My heart broke for him several times. I just wanted him to find his happiness SO badly!!Also I just LOVE that Hale grin he and Archer share. I can see them doing it and it just makes my heart so happy!! *swoon* Those Hale boys, hmm!Haven Torres is a great heroine. I adored her quirks, her love of living things, her desire for roots but most of all I loved her great, big, caring heart. Despite a lifetime of hardship she is such a kind person. The first interactions between Haven and Travis were utterly hilarious. Her sense of humour was on point; and my sarcastic little heart loved her all the more for it!!The cast of secondary characters is second to none. Obviously we get to revisit old friends like Maggie & Norm but we are treated to a whole new bunch of misfits. The crew at the Yellow Trellis B&B are my people. I love Burt, so wise. His story was so sad.One of my most favourite parts of course is seeing Archer, Bree and their kids, but most especially seeing Archer and Travis find their place in each others lives. I really enjoyed the interactions between them.Oh, and that epilogue! *chef's kiss* Just divine!!In all I was blown away by this book. I need more of Pelion Lake in my life!!I gratefully received an early copy from the author in exchange for my honest opinion.

4.5 fabulous, must-read stars
I enjoyed reading Travis. I regret not rereading Archer’s Voice before starting Travis’ story because even though the author reminds us of the history between Travis and Archer and all that happened within the Hale family, I’m a reader who needs to know all the details and I take full responsibility that I didn’t refresh my memory beforehand.I absolutely loved learning more about Travis. As the current Chief of Police of Pelion, we see a massive change in him when you consider the actions of his younger self, and it was fabulous to witness his caring and thoughtful personality. There is a theme about redeeming oneself and I loved how the author wrote this, due to not making it only about Travis.Throughout most of the story I loved Haven. However, during those times when I didn’t, I did appreciate the reasons for her actions, and I do believe that those few incidents cemented how much I wanted Travis and Haven to take their fabulous friendship one step further. I loved witnessing Haven’s journey throughout the book. She’s a unique and beautiful young lady. My heart breaks when I think of all she has been through, and in my opinion the author penned her thoughts and feelings very well indeed.I not only loved witnessing Travis and Haven together but it was lovely being back in the company of Archer and Bree too. I hope as this series continues that we see more of all the characters that played a role in this book. I thought ‘The Crew’ added to this story perfectly.I absolutely adore the messages within this story that I will take away with me and consider for the rest of my days. My one wish when reading any book is that the story will have me feeling every emotion with a strong level of intensity, and maybe I had high expectations that Travis would create emotions similar to those I have experienced when reading Mia Sheridan’s other work. Sadly, this story didn’t quite hit that mark, although it is still truly worthy of the 4.5 stars that I award it.Even though Travis can be read as a standalone, please take my advice and consider reading Archer’s Voice first. It is an outstanding story that needs to be read regardless. Travis is written using the dual perspectives of both Travis and Haven which is perfect for this story. I am certain you’ll love witnessing the journeys of these two young people. They each have their own demons to exorcise and they both truly deserve to do this and move forward finding future happiness. I’m certain you’ll enjoy discovering why.

You are so wanted by me.Elements Of Book🔅 Contemporary Romance☯️ Dual POV💓 He falls first🏡 Small Town Romance🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 Spicy scenes!🌻 Plant Lady & Chief Of PoliceReview 5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Elements from Archer's Voice are expanded on in this story. We really did get to see griwth from the character by the 70% mark (if youre reading in kindle.) I would highly reccomend reading that story first as you get Travis's point of view from things in his past (won't spoil) and why he did the things he would go on to do as a teen & adult. The town of Pelion felt like a character all its own in this novel. You get to hear about how Bree & Archer are doing 🩷🥺🐕🏡 and I truly adored all the corky characters in the Bed & breakfast. I also loved Clawdia the cat!The lake scene on page 177 really brought Travis to a whole new level of vulnerability to me. Readers will fly through this book once you consider how Travis must've felt on comparison to Archer. 🐤Burt & Betty's stories made my heart feel so sad yet full at the same time. This was a beautiful full circle book which shined a light on Travis's perspective and in a lot of ways gave reader's closure from the beloved story of Archer's Voice. Perfect book for summers beside a lake, ocean, or just with a view that makes you dream of your future with someone special.🟢Favorite Scenes🟢🩷 🥂Page 90 first kiss ~ I absolutely loved the spontaneous element of the first kiss! It was hot and sweet yet they both weren't ready!🪴Travis put an APB on the missing plants for Haven 🥺🐞🪲 The Ladybug scene at the blueberry picnic!!! I genuinely loved Haven's interactions with Travis's family ✨️🩵All of Chapter 25 ~ the genuine growth of Travis and the love he had for Archer as a brother, friend, and whole person. Argh and Archer's advice!!! 💛🥺The 2nd town meeting brought me so many emotions! Tears fell and the confessions of the town made me smile.🐱 Clawdia is in the epilogue! Mia Sheriden does epilogues like no bodies business! That last chapter felt like a warm hug and waving goodbye to Palion, Maine.

Enchanted
When I heard about this book, I was super excited to read it. I was a little afraid because it was about the character Travis Hale, who I met in the book The Voice of the Archer, and at the same time that I was afraid, I was also curious.I had a nice surprise. The book is wonderful. Mia didn't let me down and added another darling to my list.Travis became a totally different character. I fell in love with him. Haven was a very welcome surprise. A sweet, gentle girl who loves and cares for plants. Despite a difficult past, she tries to convey as much of the beauty within her as possible.Besides all this, we can still miss Archer and Bree.Highly recommended!

Despite it’s flaws: A must-read for Archer’s Voice lovers
2.5/5 ⭐️ I bought this book right after I had finished Archer’s Voice since I couldn’t handle the idea of leaving Pelion Lake. I was a bit disappointed, though, as the storyline is quite weak compared to Archer’s Voice. The chemistry between the love-interest and Travis feels rather “fake” or forced.HOWEVER, I really do think it’s a must-read for all those who enjoyed Archer’s Voice. The book takes you back to Pelion Lake, and let’s you “see” some familiar faces again. I did also finish it in less than two days, so there’s definitely something about Sheridan’s writing that pulls you in. :)

Mia Sheridan -Amazing as always
Again, a hero you can only dream of. Even at their lowest they show strength and fierce love. I like that. Also we have again a heroine sexy yet feminine, strong and yet so vulnerable. Only Miss Sheridan can wove stories that make you weep and laugh. I love her broken but also so selfless characters. She's my favourite author. 🤩❤
