Fitting together Bad
This is my second one from McFarland or whatever. The detail is good and theyâre cool, but the tail has to be liquid nailed or a strong glue and the feet donât fit or match up to the holes. So they spend time and making a good casting and itâs nice quality and nicely painted, but the tail doesnât stay on this is my second one with the same problem and the feet donât fit into the rocks in the bottom. I give it five stars because itâs its nice appearance and good quality, but whoever is matching up to fit this together mustâve been drinking . Nothing fits you have to fix it for the price. I would think it would fit good. So I recommend it, but just be prepared to fuss with it yourself to make it the way it should come automatically. I have another one coming in October. Iâm anticipating the same problem. Appearance is good, fit, sucks. Sucks

A magnificent figure with minor flaws
For 20 years of collecting, I have been looking for a dragon figure like this: long flexible body, natural pose, walking on its wings, vicious altitude. Before Caraxes, it was Smaug from the Hobbit and Vermithrax from Dragon Slayer that signified this dragon archetype. And finally, McFarlane made this figure. I cannot be happier with the pose, the paint job, and details. It certainly has the tail fitting problem, but I find that is extremely fixable with glue, and not sure why people seemed too upset about it. This is a display figure with the quality of a D&D miniature dragon, and it also looks good next to the miniatures from ASOIAF by CMON. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, thank you McFarlane!

Awesome Caraxes figure by Mcfarlane
First of all I ordered two figures of Caraxes one for display and other to keep in the box in mint condition. I really don't know why people are giving this figure so much hate as this is an awesome figure with pretty good detailing and paint work . Yes the tail is a bit difficult to attach. The trick is to hold the dragon in one hand and tail in other and use as much as strength as possible without any fear of breaking the figure and tail will snap in place. The wings were easy to assemble but attaching the assembled figure on base is a little tricky as it needs three pegs to align- keep the base up and figure down and attach each peg. There is no gap between the base when placed on a flat surface as mentioned by one user. Once assembled this Caraxes dragon is beautiful, bold and looks every bit as glorious as it did on the show. Please don't give this figure much hate. Thanks to Amazon for quick delivery from USA to India and also to Mcfarlane to bring this figure to life.

Not a Great Fit
All of the pieces required sanding to fit together. And the tail needs glue to actually stay in, whereas the rest could be fit together without if necessary. Overall really like it, but that was quite frustrating.

Caraxes in all his Glory!
This figure is absolutely stunning! If you are a huge fan of House of the Dragon, this Caraxes is a must have! The details on it are so elaborate. It says action figure in the description, but this is 100% a collector's item made for display. Amazon sent me the wrong dragon twice, but I was determined to add this to my collection. It is high quality for the cost, and from a distance it could easily pass for a glass sculpture. đ„đ I also have Syrax, she is just as well made. Go buy them, if you haven't already!

Watch the Tail!
My first figurine arrived damaged. The tip of one of the wings was broken off, and the tail didn't connect properly. The connector is clearly not made correctly.Ordered a replacement. The tail was EXTREMELY hard to snap into place, but did go with this one. I twisted a bit as I pushed, and that seemed to do the trick. Good luck! It's tough!!Overall, the figurine is cool. The paint job is great (minus the name plate - kind of wish they just hadn't added that) and he looks just as he is depicted in the show. The base does not sit flat (see pictures) when he is snapped in which is kind of a bummer.

Perfect
It was a gift for my mom. She was delighted. For the people saying the parts donât fit, you just have to push hard. They will fit. I have already two Caraxes and two Syrax and for the both of them their wings and tails fit perfectly.

Love it!
So after PATIENTLY attaching the pieces, my Caraxes is perfect! The tail can snap on guys! Be very patient, use some strength when attaching the tail. I watched 2 videos online of people attaching it with force and it was a piece of cake! His wings attach good, one of his feet pops up a little on the stand but thats fine. Im not expecting it to be all flush. But its a perfect figure.
