Maypole Deluxe Heavy Duty PVC Caravan Hitch Cover, Grey

This cover is really hard wearing thick PVC which I was after as the cloth one I had looked really tatty and had faded badly in the sunlight after just 6 months. This cover looks very smart and discreet, the straps are very good, much better than the corded covers. It covers all the mechanics well although the back does show as in the picture but that's fine. very pleased with this, good quality and price and was delivered promptly. Highly recommended.

I fitted this to a Lunar caravan with an Alko hitch, it fitted quite nicely. It covered the towing hitch, electric cable holders and the jockey wheel handle. It has straps that can be tightened when fitted and these clip together easily. The material is lightweight but seems strong, well made and waterproof. For a universal cover I am pleased with the fit, the price and the speed of delivery.

It was so hard trying to choose from so many, and even looking at reviews you get some people saying it's great and others saying it doesn't fit. So, to be clear - I have a Bailey Pageant Monarch Caravan with a stabilizer tow hitch and this cover fitted perfectly. It's well made and the straps a way better than having cords that you have to tie. Clearly I can't comment on its durability because I haven't had it long enough, but for now I think this is an excellent purchase.

This item was taken out of the box to be posted on looking at it I thought mm good for the price but then spotted the caravan end of the cover. The edges at the rear of the cover closest to the van end are just cut, not finished. Like the lower edges so will possibly tear. It looks like it is deliberate so no point in returning or complaining just a cheap design for a cheap price. We will stitch a hem on it to protect it otherwise it is a reasonable fabric cover

Fits perfectly

I ordered the deluxe version in June 2017 for fitting to an old Lunar caravan I had bought second hand. I'm new to caravan life and when fitting this cover had to keep looking at the box picture (as well as other caravans who had covers) to make sure I was fitting it properly. I'm not going to say its a perfect fit (compared to others I have seen in use) but it will do the job for now and covers the tow hitch and lock, handbrake lever and electrical bits I wanted to protect from the elements. The straps seem to have so far been successful in keeping it in place though I have noticed it seems to "ride forward" slightly but not off when its windy. That said, it has kept dry the trailer parts I've wanted to protect. At this price I have no real complaint given how much a properly fitted cover for my particular model of caravan could cost.

A well made product at a really good price. Mine fits well but can flap a little in the wind so you really need to wrap a strap around the towball end for a quiet nights sleep! After about three months use mine is getting a bit grubby looking and is not easy to get clean.

Good product for the money really. Not the biggest cover around but does the job! Very light weight and seems well made and covers tow hitch well.

Arrivato il giorno seguente come promesso dal servizio "prime" di Amazon. Provato la sera stessa, copre tutto il timone fino al ruotino e freno a mano compreso ( ho uno stabilizzatore sul timone ). Un po' di difficoltà per via del porta bici montato sul timone ma alla fine ho coperto tutto senza grossi problemi. L'ho scelto perché è un pezzo chiuso a modo di cappello e non come altri che sono tipo conpertine aperte da avvolgere sul timone. Il rischio era di non riuscire a coprire tutto. Invece devo dire che è sufficientemente grande, almeno per la mia roulotte ( vecchio tipo ) Personalmente lo consiglio. Aggiornamento a giugno 2021 ; dopo 4 anni di utilizzo con roulotte al sole il copritimone è esattamente come quando acquistato. Nessuno strappo o tessuto cotto dal sole. A questo punto posso dire che è un ottimo prodotto!

Vert very small, doesn't fit any standard caravan

Buen producto a muy buen precio. Encaja perfecto para cubrir la lanza de mi caravana. Fabricado de una tela fina y más ligera que otras fundas, pero aparentemente bastante resistente y bien impermeabilizada. Las costuras parecen bien hechas y tiene dos correas inferiores ajustables y con con clips de plástico para abrocharlas fácilmente, muy cómodos para sujetarla a la lanza y evitar que se mueva. Para mis necesidades va perfecta: yo quería una funda ligera y fácil de plegar para ponerla cuando llego a un camping en estancias cortas de 2 a 5 días, y luego volverla a poner cuando guardo la caravana en el garaje. Para proteger una caravana fija durante varios años no sé qué tal aguantará el paso del tiempo a la intemperie.

Positiv:: passt auch gut über die Winterhoff WS 3000 Antischlingerkupplung, durch die beiden in der Länge verstellbaren Schlaufen gut anpassbar. der Hamdbremshebel ist mit abgedeckt. Fahrzeug: Wohnwagen Negativ: nach knapp einem Jahr draußen ist das Grün schon sehr stark ausgebleicht, jetzt eher blassgrün. Hat auf die Funktion natürlich keinen Einfluss.
