Seawhite 220gsm Heavy All-Media Cartridge Pad by Seawhite Of Brighton,A4-297 x 210mm,PAD220A4

Got this paper for ink line cartooning. Was looking for a uk alternative to strathmore 300 Bristol. This is the same surface paper as in tthe seawhite sketchbooks (which are great!) it’s just heavier(220gsm instead of 140-160gsm).The paper has a very slight texture, great for pencil and brush. But I find smooth enough for pen , even for dip pen. The best thing about this paper is that it has some sizing , so it holds up to water pretty well, which means no bleading of ink lines. Ink lines come out perfect, also holds up for white correction ink. This paper is not as good as strathmore 300 vellum, but it’s very close and much cheaper, and made in the uk. I wish they made it heavier weights tho.

This is indeed a fine paper for drawing and also painting on. I am very pleased to recommend it

I am buying this for the second time. I do a lot of artwork in pen and ink especially maps for novels. It is ideal as it is a very smooth paper with a touch of roughness so it holds the ink or watercolor well. It allows the steel dip-in pens to run smoothly over the surface for precise work.The weight is also excellent as it prevents buckling of the paper. All said it is great value for money

Purchased in an emergency after my original paper ended up in a sink (don't ask). The paper is high quality, though slightly textured - I used it for fineliner and gouache and it worked beautifully, I've also used the same pad for intaglio printing and lino cuts, but be aware that the ink will take a WHILE to dry on this. Overall really great paper, a brand that I now trust with my artwork for sure!

Product good but disappointed with the late delivery considering it was Prime.

I have used Seawhite cartridge paper before but this is the heavier paper which should be better for watercolour/watercolour washes. Good value as is the lighter weight cartridge paper. Recommend.
