I have been skeptical to buy products like this due to the chemicals and alcohols that are in most of these products. But I took a shot with this one after dealing with a persistent and quite large scab for about 2 months. After the first use I was torn. I have super oily hair and wet and dry dandruff. My hair was the cleanest it has ever been and completely removed all my oil and build up. Yay but I was concerned it seemed to makey scalp worse. All out full blown flaky for 2 days. Second use seemed to ease the flake. Third use and my scab has stopped forming as profoundly. I hope that by the end of the month I have eliminated the flakiness.

I have had dandruff issues for years. I tried so many shampoos on the market to help - from drug store to high end - and never had lasting results. Switched to this shampoo with the hydro boost conditioner from Neutrogena and found a winning combo! My hair is shiny and there's not a flake in sight. Smells amazing too!

I have issues with dandruff year-round, and the normal dandruff shampoos, like head and shoulders don’t work for me. Salicylic acid is the only thing that has ever worked, but it dries my hair out so much that I don’t use it often. This shampoo is fantastic. It has a nice scent, but I don’t notice it lingering on my hair afterwards. It has helped my dandruff, but it’s not completely gone. I don’t know that anything will ever control it completely. I have been using this exclusively for about a week, so I’m hoping that over time, I’ll keep seeing better results. I am most impressed with how it makes my hair feel though. I was not expecting this from a dandruff shampoo. My hair felt so soft afterwards that I went without using conditioner in the shower for the first time in years. My hair still looked great and didn’t tangle. I did use a leave in conditioner, as I always do, since my hair is wavy. I can even go for longer without washing my hair, as it doesn’t get greasy looking like it used to. I ended up ordering two more bottles, so I don’t run out. I hope they never stop making this.

My sister recommended this to me as a way to keep my scalp from forming dandruff and it has been very effective. When I ran out I noticed pretty quickly that I needed to buy more because my hair had flakes in it again. I like to shampoo once with this and then a second time with regular shampoo.
