MSR Fuel Bottle 20oz

Excellent little fuel bottle to compliment my Coleman Sportster stove.

Does what it says on the tin.

I have now had MSR fuels bottles for 2 years+. One of each bottle top type. The 'newer' wide version of the fuel bottle top is a little easier to operate with cold hands. The airtight screw top insures that the fuel does not evaporate or leak and I have used the bottle in a mulitide of conditions and on various substrates. The print is resistent to scratching and the 20oz bottle is ideal for long weekend field trips. The bottle is relatively easy to fill from 5ltr fuel cannisters-just insure that you have a study hand and a flat service to place the bottle on.

Perfetta e adatta a contenere abbastanza liquido per un utilizzo in 3/4 settimane (per soddisfare i bisogni di 1 persona). Utilizzata con MSR Whisperlight, si adatta alla perfezione. Materiale ottimo e resistente, fornita con tappo child-safe, ottimo perché è praticamente impossibile si apra per sbaglio (bisogna premere e girare il tappo per aprire).

A bit expensive, but that sums up the bad qualities of these fuel bottles. The threads are perfect and the bottle is strong enough to withstand the pressure you need for cooking with it. The paint lasts even when exposed to different fuels and can handle some abuse. I don't like the childproof cap on it. Since I don't have children around i switched it with one from a old sigg bottle. (replace the sigg white gasket with a fuel-safe kind)
