Really works better than expected.
Exceeds expectation. And includes an adjustable stand for your phone too (not mentioned in detail). Keys press nice. Sturdy, nice compartment for pen and extra tip. If someone returned this, probably didn't check compatibility. Have to press hard to get tablet into case at last corner. Fits tight and secure. iPad and pen definitely won't pop out of this case. Only con; the instructions use a tiny picture of the keys to press for the BT. Used a magnifying glass. The last page does rectify this with standard readable print, saw that too late. It is shown on ad page of Amazon also. BT connects fast and easy. And you have the option of a second BT channel and switching between the two with the Fn and Q or W -nice again. Backlit keyboard colors and intensity control are great -nice again. I went with a pale soft yellow. Here's a trick. While you can place the Pen Pro in the space provided below the iPad -and yes it is really secure- alternatively you can leave the pen pro on the magnetic top of the iPad and keep the keyboard attached to the magnetic base of the folio case there is enough material that you can close the case flap and secure everything. Only issue, don't know if keyboard would scratch iPad. I'm using thin cushioning. Case and keyboard weigh more than expected, but good -and strong. Plenty of functionality keys including screen shot, home, search, screen lock and audio controls. Also, the touchpad is why I chose this case. And it can be turned off easily -Fn+Spacebar.

Great for the price
Overall, I have no complaints about it. I've had no issues with complaints, battery life, or anything. It works very well and was easy to figure out. It looks great, and is quite sturdily made for how cheap it was. Overall very good quality, the only thing that's annoyed me is how the cursor works and that I can't seem to use control+[letter] commands with it. The manual had a list of the shortcuts and commands that I could use with it, but I immediately lost it lol.I use this for college and it works great for that. Very comfortable to use to type my essays. I would not, however, use it to try to do anything that requires precision from the cursor, like drawing.

Good for versatility - sturdy - heavy - holds Pencil securely
I was looking for something more like the smart keyboard that Apple makes, where it easily detaches but still has the case around the back. This does not quite fill that desire, but worth the price compared to the Apple brand. The keyboard stays quite secure with a strong magnet behind it. While the keyboard is very light-weight, the magnet is very heavy, and this made me like it less (but since this is a personal preference, I still rated it with 5 stars as this may not bother other users).I love how it holds the Pencil, but disappointed that it doesn't charge it on that side. It charges the Pencil, however, on the other side through the case very well, and when you flip it shut, if you forget about the pencil, the flap helps it so it doesn't get knocked off or lost in transit. It folds around in many different positions, making it easy for me to leave the keyboard behind while I run around servicing technology around the school buildings I'm in, then I can flip it open to take quick notes with the Pencil. The iPad comes out easily enough that you could take it around with you without the whole case, but then you wouldn't have any protection. I was sort of hoping for a way to put a pop-socket on the case I got, but can't with this design. If the keyboard "Charge" light lights up when it needs to be charged, then the battery seems pretty good, since I sometimes forget to turn off the keyboard, but have not yet had it die on me or have it tell me it needs charging after having a couple of months, now. Maybe the 'charge' light only lets you know when it is charging. If so, it would be nice if it had a battery gauge to let you know when it is getting low. Maybe I should read the instructions. 😉If someone would copy the Apple Smart keyboard and case at an affordable price, though, I would jump on it!Depending on what you need a case to do, I would recommend this one.
