Excellent book. Make sure you get the illustrated version.

Such a pleasure to read with so much great information. The illustrated version of the book was much more expensive that the non-illustrated version, but it was definitely worth the additional cost.

This is a beautiful book, regardless of content. Inside, the illustrations are masterfully rendered and the text is... Bill Bryson! Of course it is funny. But learn while you laugh.

I am over 50, but still found a huge amount of new information about myself in this book. Also good illustrations, many photographs to visualize the narrative. Very interesting reading.

Amazing visuals added for this wonderful experience. The Body is one purchase everyone should have on their book shelf.

This is an extremely heavy book and I don't mean " information-wise" !! This thing could be used for a boat anchor . I'm curious as to what kind of paper was chosen without regard to overall weight of the finished book. Otherwise it is a wonderful piece of work, very satisfied with Bryson's effort. Now, if only I could pick it up to read it .

Book contents are great but the book itself is very cheaply made - It seems like a cheap copy of the original book. I'm not at all happy with this purchase.

Oh, wow! This book is amazing. So many facts about our bodies and written in such an easy to read way. You will learn so much and will find yourself wanting to read more and more. It’s a very big, heavy, book and you definitely get your money’s worth! I loved it, like I do all of Bill Bryson’s books.
