The knob can’t be tightened enough to open the valve.

Works and seals tight
The adapter is a great pick up for refilling 1 lb propane tanks. It screwed on tightly to both tanks and didn't leak at all. The valve worked perfectly to start and stop the gas flow. It's solidly made and should last for a long time.
