I absolutely love these backpacks for my 7 and 9 year old! They are super high quality at a fraction of the price of the name brand ones. All of the zippers are as smooth as butter, which I love! No more zippers getting jammed and making my impatient children pull on them until they break! They also have a lot of space inside. More than enough room for books, binders, lunchboxes, cold weather gear, and water bottles. Each side has a stretchy water bottle pocket which is great so their water doesn’t leak onto school papers and library books. The shoulder straps are very padded and comfortable. Tons of colors and styles to choose from. My absolute favorite backpack so far!

So I do enjoy this backpack. My son had one very similar to this. We were actually looking for a style very similar to the one he had before because it was holding up really well. He used it 3 years in a row and there was nothing wrong with it. The only reason why we got a new one is because he outgrew the space theme that his old backpack was. So then we found this one and we like the geometric shapes and colors of this. It's pretty great and it seems to be made exactly the same as the one he had before and it holds up really well. For being on the cheaper end of a backpack. I think this is good and since the other one lasted 3 years and this one looks to be the same. I got big hopes and expectations for it. It is lightweight but there are lots of zipper pouches and it fits his back well and it seems to be water resistant enough and it's the right size for him. So overall we are happy with it. I do like that on the side. It's it'll hold his water bottle in better too. The one he had when he was younger had the water bottle holder but it would just sit there and sometimes his water bottle would fall out, especially now that he's upgraded to a normal sized water bottle. So having that tighten on the side is actually very beneficial for us.

My son used this backpack for 2 years, and wants to use it for a 3rd year. It still looks brand new! This backpack has adequate space with lots of pockets.

Update to say it’s still 5 stars. It lasted the entire year and still looks new. Super light and easy to use for my preschooler
