As expected---kids love it.
I bought this for my almost 2 year old son. He's a little big for his age wearing 3T-4T already. He has already developed a fascination with riding toys so I jumped the gun on his 2 year birthday present and bought him this YBike. This is a cool little bike. The wheels are quiet on a wood floor, a step up from most ride-ons I would say. Easy to put together and change from position to position. Now, noting his 3T-4T size, he can easily touch the floor and push himself, but he can barely reach the pedals. The problem with him pushing with his feet on the ground in tricycle mode is that his feet hit the back "axles." I get a little worried his feet will get sucked up under one or both of the rear axles causing a wreck. I also tried it in fat rear tire mode. It was entertaining to watch him try and try again, but he wasn't ready for fat tire yet. My older daughter really liked it despite the fact she was too big for it. I don't regret this purchase at all. I highly recommend this bike for any kid 2 years or older.

2 yr old can't reach pedals/ground yet. Not quick to convert.
My son got this for his 2 yr birthday last month and it is a really neat bike the way that it changes from trike to double balanced to regular balance bike. My son is about average height and cannot reach the pedals or the ground yet though, so this is something to consider. I got this bike because I thought it would have a good age range and get good use, but maybe not considering he can't even use it yet. The only other down side is that the convert it, you need special little parts and tools, so it takes 5-10 minutes (15-20 with a curious toddler trying to help) to convert. It's not like you can start with the trike and then they want the bike, so you just switch it - it takes a small commitment of time and careful storage of the small parts to convert.

Solid Construction
Very cool bike. Solid construction and easy to assemble. While my 19-mo old was capable of peddling, his 30-inch long body was not big enough to reach the peddles and barely cleared the cross bar. I'm waiting till his 2nd birthday to try it again.

WILL IT EVOLVE?
We received 2 Evolve Bikes. ??? Only ordered 1 but, ok because I'm happy to have one at my house as well as my Grandson's. Pd for both. Not as easy to assemble as the directions read. Papa broke a couple of small parts and it still works fine. Make sure to keep the tools and directions for the evolution.

Perfect Bike for Toddlers!
Purchased for my daughter’s second birthday and she was totally in love with it. The assembly was a little tricky to understand but we got it all figured out and I am very satisfied!!

Awful! Don't waste your time or money! Horrible!!!
TERRIBLE!!! Don't waste your money (or time). This bike looks so cute and love that it is supposed to grow with your child. But it has been nothing but a useless pain. The only thing my son does with it is play "bike shop" and pretend to take it apart because that is what he has seen us do. Here is my list of complaints:(1) In trike mode the peddles are way too far from the seat. The only child I have seen successfully ride it is a large 6 year old (our 6 year old neighbor who is on the smaller side can't even get it to go - and he can ride a bike).(2) Crappy Plastic - metal screws, screw into plastic bolts, after being in trike mode I decided to move it to the balance bike position but after over an hour of trying to get the screws out of the crappy plastic I realized the plastic had stripped and there was NO WAY TO TAKE IT APART, let alone put it back together!(3) Seat is not durable. My son was drawing on a piece of paper on the seat (second semi useful use of the bike - a desk!). When he moved the paper there were dots & lines from the pencil. He didn't even break through the paper but the material was so sensitive on the seat that it left a permanent imprintOn a semi-positive note: customer service was quick to respond (although yet to resolve). I did get the impression that had I bought it directly from the company I may have been able to get a refund. Amazon told me to contact the company, but the company told me to contact Amazon.UPDATE: Amazon at least pulled through and gave me an "exception refund"

Bike assembly was quick and easy. Bike is larger and heavier than I initially thought. My 2 1/2 year old loves this bike. I would buy it again.

They should make one specific product and not a 3 in 1
Don't get me wrong. It's great quality, but since it's a 3 in 1 product, it's not a good anything, know what I mean?
