I recently purchased an automatic watch that only wound in a clockwise direction, I have a few others that wound rotated in both directions and use cheaper winders to keep them wound, As my new watch was not exactly cheap and winder requirements were specified I took the plunge in this purchase. This is undoubtedly a quality winding instrument. The watch sits vertically in the box so maximises the movement of the watches winding weight, It can be set to clockwise, counter clockwise or bidirectional. It even has a 12 hour wait before winding starts that is useful after an energetic day when the watch may well be fully wound. The watch holder is flexible enough to adapt to different sizes and uses the outer collar of the watch holder to clip into the rotating barrel. All very simple but very well executed. I purchased this brand having owned a twin turntable non adjustable version for other bidirectional winding watches that uses a similar vertical winding barrel system. In summary it does the job intends very well.

Beautiful bit of kit. I wanted a winder for my wife's automatic wristwatch. The Wolf 270002 was delivered very well packaged and protected, and extremely quickly considering I opted for free delivery. From descriptions and reviews I was expecting great things. I am not disappointed, it looks good and has a front cover to protect the watch and keep the dust away. I have extremely acute hearing, and to me the motor is virtually noiseless. One of the reasons for my choice was that it can be powered by battery or mains meaning it can be used anywhere. My wife's wrist is small and I found the standard cuff is a little too big and puts a strain on the bracelet. I solved this by going on to the Wolf website and purchased the small cuff from them which came very quickly. This small cuff fits my wife's watch perfectly. One very happy customer.

I bought this for my husband as a gift, he is a serious watch collector and he had wanted a watch winder for a while! Any watch collector needs one of these :) it came down quickly and safely packaged very well and it looks stunning and works fab! If anyone is looking at getting a watch winder I would highly recommend this one or any of the Wolf range!

The Wolf Designs Heritage Module 2.1 single watch winder is solidly constructed with a glass front panel which is opened and kept shut using a chrome clasp located at the top front side. The outer panels are crafted from a black leather effect material. A black interior section houses a central drum into which a round cuff with two tabs, which requires manual compression when removed from the winder so that the watch will fit around it, is inserted. Beneath the internal cuff at the front, a chrome plate comprises two chrome dial controls for programming the winder, plus an LED light. The first dial is for selecting the winding direction(s) of the watch: (A) clockwise, (B) counter-clockwise, or (C) both clockwise and counter-clockwise. The second dial controls the off/on/delayed start functions. The twelve hour delayed start facility is designed for when the watch's mainspring already has sufficient energy, and is not in need of immediate rotations. The winder does not wind the watch continuously. Instead, the winder has been programmed to wind the watch on an intermittent basis, with extended pauses and sleep phases. The LED light on the chrome plate flashes green intermittently to indicate that the winder is functioning normally.

Excellent design and so simple to use. I bought this particular model as a direct replacement to a much inferior version made by another company that died. I own a very expensive Breitling watch, and on occasion the type of work that I do means that I have to wear an alternative watch to save the Breitling from getting damaged. This is a fantastic item, it gives you a rotation choice of clockwise, anti-clockwise or a combination of both, plus it has the added bonus of a 12 hour delayed start up should your watch already be fully wound or a constant rotation cycle which has a pre-programmed rest period. At anytime of the day or night I can remove the watch and it is ready to go, no more giving it several turns of the winder to get it going again after a few days being stationary. You can keep the Wolf right next to you on the bedside cabinet if you so wish as it is ultra quiet. I will say this though, the Wolf arrives on your doorstep extremely well protected, in fact the cardboard box it arrives in is about six times larger than the Wolf unit itself. This Heritage model is in my opinion, great value for money and definitely built to last.

When this item arrived at my house it appeared to have been opened and resealed. So I was a little bit suspicious as to whether this was a return or an ex-display model I was receiving. When I looked at the product it had scratch marks on the inside silver bit where the watch sits - see picture. I was tempted to send it back but decided I would give it a go as no one would see the scratches when the watch was in place. I will say that it is a beautiful case and does look good for display purposes. 3 stars because of quality issues.

Was looking for something to store my watches when not in use - this does the job. A great winder that looks great and is really quiet when in use. The 12 hour delay is fab. A quality product.

I got this watch winder thinking it will be a premium product. However, in less than two years, it is making this unbearable noise as it winds the watch. It is very annoying unfortunately and I regret having spent this much on this piece of equipment for such poor quality.

I actually have 2 of these and they are great. I purchased 1several years ago, and another last year. I guess this would be considered an entry level watch winder, but I'm really happy with the quality. It has 3 basic functions; on/off, 12 hour delay, and rotation direction. When it's on, the winder operates on a timer, and the rotating mechanism will run for a certain amount of time and then turn itself off to prevent over-winding the watch. I have it on whenever the watch is in there, and it keeps the watch wound with no issues. The winder is extremely quiet and reliable, and can handle most watch sizes and weights. I have 1 timepiece that I only wear for special occasions. It's a large (48mm), heavy chronograph. It's in the winder for months at a time, with the winder always in the 'on' position. It keeps the watch wound whenever I decide to wear it, and has been problem free for the last several years. I use the other winder for my daily work watch. I can put the watch in before bed, turn on the winder, and have a full power reserve by morning. The outside material seems to be an imitation leather, but it doesn't look overly cheap. I have not had any issues with the material ripping or coming loose. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a well-built, no-frills winder.

I bought this for my husband for Xmas and he Loves it! The packaging is so decadent and classy and the unit itself is beautiful. It works very well and is virtually silent. 100 per cent recommended!

These are expensive, but I believe they are the best and quietest winders made.
