Not anywhere near as good as I'd expected. A major problem is snagging at the rail joint, plus as others have said, the straight section has a lot of whip in it. Plus the hooks/runners define the word 'cheap' !

I had an experienced bathroom fitter install this and he could not get the curtain to run smoothly, or hardly at all and we had to take it down and return.The experience with the seller was not good and although amazon returned the purchase price I did not get the return postage back as promised by the seller so out of pocket and a hole in a new panelled ceiling i didnt need but you live and learn.I have now purchased a heavy duty stainless steel rail, a lot more expensive but looks like it will last.

1. The description suggests the rail can be bent to any shape, which is not true, as the joining brackets are plastic and cannot be bent. You cannot have a joint on a curved section! The round enclosure depicted in the instructions cannot be done. Consider that before you buy!2. Every joint is a weak point at which the sliding curtain will likely be getting stuck.3. The ceiling mounts attach to joining brackets, which limits the position further.4. The wall brackets do not allow the hooks to slide flush against the wall (as it is the case with croydex shower bendy rail) thus creating an opening through which water is more likely to splash!5. Instruction does not state what size drill bits required.6. The chrome finish looks very attractive, but the coating is delicate and any scratches during the installation will be conspicuous; hence careful handling is vital!In essence, save yourself a headache and a potential return; get croydex in the first place (even screwfix stocks those). I also managed to google search for chrome finish version of croydex, if you are determined to get the best look.

This could have been a much better product with clear instructions and few small missing parts. While the product itself is satisfactory, installation would require advanced DIY skills. While i manahed to install this with the roof support, there is now a gap between channels of which curtain hooks keep on falling. Lots of wasted effort as well... I am now stuck with using curtain rings as hooks can no longer work !
