You push the trigger forward for reverse and pull back for forward. The big wheel on the side is easy to turn and that is how you control the wheels. I did turns and straight runs with this and can't wait to give it to my grandson for Christmas. It comes with everything you need except for 3 AA batteries for the controller. Make sure you plug it in and charge it before you give it so the gift recipient will be able to play with it right away. My grandson had a helicopter last year and flew it one time and it got lost in the trees. This year we are keeping him grounded with this awesome car.

Package includes two batteries which last a long time - long enough so that a teenager can play with it enough to get bored before they run out. There are also two car covers included (red and blue) along with extra pins to keep it attached. I've used other RC cars and have frequently needed extra hinge pins because they fall out, so it's nice these are included. Also I like that the battery in this unit is attached in a compartment underneath the car.Overall this is a great RC car and fun for kids and adults! It's fast and will impress your neighbors!

The media could not be loaded. The RC Car is easy to use, setup, and fast once its on the ground. You have an option to use the blue or red base plate and its easy to swap out and secure with screws and it feels pretty sturdy. For a begginer the controls are also easy to use. I think the other reviews do a good job of showing how it performs so i kinda just unboxxed it, they arent kidding when they say its fast. It runs qiuck and turns on a dime. I got it for my son and I have no doubt hes gonna love it!

All I can say is wow. This thing is more fun than a cat stuck on a ceiling fan swinging. A fast fun tuff little rc car with great battery life and raw brushless 1:18 scale speed. Get one you won't regret it.Update very good car durable. But no parts available. Till they get parts availability don't bother buying it. You'll be stuck with a door stop.

The media could not be loaded. My family absolutely loves this remote control toy car! Our kids and friends’ kids have been having a blast with this car (and so have the adults!) The car is much faster than we ever thought it would be and it can make fast tight turns which makes controlling it very easy. It even comes with an interchangeable car design which the kids love swapping out. We highly recommend this car!

I love how small, fast and powerful this one is. You have to gradually accelerate or it'll spin out. The brushless motor is probably overpowered vs. the small plastic suspension and steering parts. I rammed it into a fence at full throttle and it survived but I'm not using this one as a basher.The two batteries are lithium ion so the amp output is lower than a lipo but this seems plenty fast regardless.From what I can tell this is nothing but a re-branding of a Haixboxing model which is a pretty rescpectable RC car manufacturer. The only design issue I have is the battery try is on the bottom of the car and the cover has to be screwed back on when you swap batteries. I can live with that though.

The car was awesome until it stopped working. The reciever seems to disconnect intermittently. Charge and distance doesn't effect the issue - it happens all the time. It may be the entire power system because the lights go out too. Like there is a short. So, yeah, can't really drive it.
