Good and solid construction, works as it should!

Some of the products I buy on Amazon don’t meet my expectations in quality and workmanship. Anyway, this is not one of them. Very well built cigarette cord extension which I use because many of the newer vehicles put their cigarette lighters in the console on in the back seat area, when I need power in the front or elsewhere. Aside from being well built with a heavy gauge cord, it has a nice, equally durable on-off switch on the back of the plug. This allow you to keep it plugged in, but not run your battery down when not in use. Highly recommend. Darrin D.

Good quality, easy to use

My dash cam wouldn’t power off when the car was off and in the garage. So I had to get something with a switch, so I didn’t have to pull the plug out every time I parked in the garage. The switch works very well for me, it is lit up when on, to remind me to switch it off. The cord is good length to reach from the dash cam to the cigarette lighter socket by the back seats, and be hidden under panels.

I bought this to add power to a rolling kitchen island. I attached it to the skirt on the cart allowing me to leave appliances plugged into it and now only have one plug to plug into the receptacle.

The convenient rocket switch helps to prevent from any short circuit when unused, and the cord is long enough to connect accessories at a distance. The only thing is that the short socket causes my plug falling out sometimes.

Purchased a dashcam a while ago and didn't really want to go through the hassle of hardwiring it. I moved a fuse in my car so that the 12V sockets would always be on and my dashcam could stay running. That ended up being a big mistake when I didn't drive my car for 4 days and my battery died. Ended up getting it boosted and decided to just plug in and unplug the dashcam from the socket every time I started my car. Soon enough that got annoying.Eventually thought of getting a 12V extension plug with a built in switch so I could just turn it ON and OFF instead of unplugging altogether.Found this product and it's perfect for my needs. I'd argue I don't need 5ft of cable but just wound it and tucked it all between the seat and middle console. I was a little skeptical about leaving it plugged in all the time despite being in the OFF position but it hasen't failed on me yet.NOTE: the male plug with the switch is a little big and cumbersome, could be a bit too bulky for some
