This box is brilliant! It may be made of plastic but it feels really durable and stable. I note that some reviews stated that it tips up however if you open it up fully so the base and the lid are completely flat it’s really stable. I ordered this to store Lego in during a large Lego project. It’s perfect. I can fit different sized pieces in the compartments which make it easier to find things. You can change the size of the compartments that sit above the base so it’s very versatile. It would make a great sewing box or craft box. It’s not really big enough as a tool box so check the sizes before you order as they are accurate as stated on Amazon. I would really recommend this box . It is a little bit more expensive than some however it’s stronger and very well made.

This item is exactly what I needed to store all my art supplies. It folds out flat so you can access all parts at once, you can fit tonnes of items in it of different sizes. It feels extremely sturdy and is great value for the price. This would be perfect for storing any kind of art or craft supplies, or even as a toolbox. Highly recommened!

A good sized craft box - I do a lot of sewing and craftwork and so wanted a box with lots compartments for my various bits and pieces whilst I am watching my favourite DVD's and working at the same time. It comes up to the mark with tiers of compartments so I can store my needles, pins, threads, buttons, etc., however, I find that when it is fully open it can topple over - it's hard to get a balance of the heavy stuff on the bottom so that it doesn't fall over backwards. That's my only fault - apart from that I find it as useful a storage unit for crafts as you can get.

I love this cantilever box. I keep trying to think of an excuse to buy another one. I'm using it for leatherwork tools, some of which are heavy. Not sure why some reviews say it's unstable, if you use properly and load the heaviest items in the lower section then it should be stable. The lay flat design for the lid to stabilise is genius! I really like the military colours. I like the stability and robustness. I did have to shave down the ends of one of the dividers as it had been moulded too thick to fit. It's perfect now so no issue. I lined with that black rubber matting which keeps the tools from rolling. They wouldn't move far without it but that was my own preference. I'm a total creative so I'm sure my other stuff which already has a place to live will need a new, beautiful, cantilever toolbox soon. Still pondering. I bought another one 😀!

The lid is a bit stiff to open and close, but otherwise as expected. Roomy storage for my art supplies.

Have had this box for about 3 months. There is so much storage space and places to organise my sewing tools. The mechanism and holders are sturdy enough and extend smoothly. The way that it opens up means you have access to a wide array of tool: every compartment in an easy to reach position, so that you can easily pick up your tools. It's quite ingenious: instead of the width of the box you have 2.5x the width and your tools spread over this larger area for easy perusal and access. The military green almost camo colour makes me feel like a military engineer with a toolbox as I carry it around.

Really like this storage box, I use it mostly for keeping electrical tools for repairs or modifications. Can keep all my spare parts/tools organised. Chose this over a standard tool box as when I'm working it's handy to have your equipment displayed and ready to be used in front of you. Saves rummaging around mixed tools. Structurally it seems to be quite strong. Space-wise it's bigger than expected which is always a plus. Great and easy to travel about with. Delivery was fast. Overall happy with this product and seller.

Sturdy & well made, with a large capacity for lots of different items, my only small niggle is that it can have a tendency to over balance when opened. I have other similar cases & they all do that - this is much the best I have found.
