Your First Marine Aquarium: A Complete Pet Owner's Manual

I have bought this book as I was completely out of this hobby. However, this book has explained the basics to me and it is a very good start if you want to deal with marine aquariums. What I liked most is the abundance of fish and invertebrate photos which give you a very good idea about what options you have. Overall, it is an excellent choice for someone who does not know anything about marine fish and would like to learn the essentials without getting lost in the numerous forums which are available online.

Pretty basic but gives you a good start into salt marine fish

I bought this book as i am thinking of getting a marine aquarium in the near future. I wanted to gain as much knowledge as possible and this book is very informative. Lovely colour photos and its really good as it compares invertebrates with fish and has an easy table to tell you which fish can be kept with invertebrates and vise versa. Definately worth the money.

This is a life saver for first time Marine Aquarists like myself. If you have just started you'll know it can be overwhelming, but this is an excellent book to refer to if you are stuck with something.

As with previous reviews, this book has a light hearted but detailed look at setting up an acquarium. Really good information about tank set up and how fish with interact with others and their typical needs to be able to thrive - well recommended.

This little book is easy to read and covers most areas a newcomer wants to know about. Plenty of information on basic aspects.

very basic nothing special

Good quality and did save a couple of bucks! Gained come confidence in buying thrift books..! About the content, the book does give u a lot of insight about keeping a marine tank. Good for beginners as the name suggest!

Its getting me started as a n00b. It came in the perfect condition as well. Very prompt in getting to me as well.

This book was a cheap investment to find out a salt water tank is not for me. It has great details to help make wise decisions about what is needed in time and money.
