Easy ears
This product does what it says - it softens the wax and aids removal. I DIDN"T put anything in my ear to aid removal - the wax gradually made it's way to the exit.....I probably used it every evening for about a week before bed. I plugged my ear with a small cotton wool ball to prevent leakage....but it worked.....

This is a very cheap & safe solution for getting rid of a buildup of excess earwax
I have got very narrow year canals which are prone to getting blocked quite easily… My local GP no longer offers syringing & when one of my ears got blocked recently all they could suggest was using olive oil drops in my ear and that should eventually dissolve the earwax but if it didn't do so then I would have to go to the ENT (ear is nose and throat) Department at the local hospital for them to syringe my ear. I tried the olive oil drops for a couple of months and it did absolutely nothing for me and then I decided to try these drops. I put some of these drops into my ear on going to sleep and slept on my side with that ear exposed which I then plugged with some cotton wool so it didn't leak everywhere during the night… I didn't hear any fizzing or anything like that but after using the drops every night for about 10 days or so my ear finally unblocked. I would definitely recommend these drops as the first port of call if you do find yourself a victim of earwax blockage is they really do work a treat.

Blocked my ear right up!
I suppose that means it works well as it blocked my ear right up, presumably because it melted the wax. Cost me 80 quid to have them syringed!

Good, but beware of expiry several weeks after opening if you need to use it for longer than a month.
I have severe wax buildup in my left ear due to it's odd shape (wax doesn't naturally make it's way out towards the outer part of my left ear). I periodically receive microsuction (not the same as syringing) to remove hardened wax. I therefore tend to get to a stage regularly where I need to use drops (although according to one ENT doctor I have seen, it is not recommended to use drops regularly on a long term basis, another recommended I use a dose once a week to "maintain" the wax levels).Tried these in comparison to Olive Oil drops (have used sodium bicarb from Care+ before). What I've found that using these in combination with olive oil (some kind of rotation) actually works quite efficiently for me (have seen many ENT doctors in my lifetime). It's not a be-all and end-all solution, but it certainly was different to just using one on it's own. Recommend to just have a play around.Good:- Can have a "fizzing" effect when used which at least makes you think it's doing something (and it generally does do at least something).Downside:- Not meant to continue using after a handful of weeks after opening (apparently Sodium Bicarb becomes unstable after not so much time). I kept mine in the fridge to help preserve them for longer (a tip recommended to me by one of my ENT doctors). Be sure to bring them to room temperature before use though (research has shown that the warmer the temperature, the more effective ear drops can be - have a search on the internet for this). Olive oil drops on the other hand have no such expiry after opening.
