Does what it says on the tin! But great to use as no splashes when basting

This tool is well designed, easy to use and clean and excellent value for money

I have been looking for this gadget for ages but can never find in stores. This is great for basting roast chicken etc and coating roast potatoes or removing fat or excess liquid from dishes. The suction is really effective and it's a glass tube not plastic so no leakage. Works really well, good value for money.

I found this an effective Baster - the pipette is made from Glass and has a scale on the glass tube, with quite a narrow end. The rubber bulb is pretty large.I used this at Christmas and certainly had no problems basting my turkey and re-using the oil for my roasted veg and potatoes. It could suck up the bulb almost full and didn't appear to get too hot to handle, although i didn't let the juices sit in the tube very long. It is glass so I would suspect it could get hot.I put mine in the dishwasher afterwards and it came out clean and intact - so no problems there ..One thing to note; The bulb which pushes on to the tube/pipette should sit right near the top, you can when assembling push it downwards so the top of the bulb touches the tube, if you do this the bulb is ineffective. It should just sit on the top 1cm of the tube.For me worked really well, arrived next day, bargin.

O.K. these can break if you drop them onto floor tiles, but they are so much better than the plastic alternatives ! So easy to clean properly, unlike the plastic ones which end up with tiny score marks on the inside from the cleaning brushes. If I break this one, I'll buy another.So, I suppose the only caveat is, don't drop them onto floor tiles !

The narrow part at the front is brittle, so it doesn’t support easy cleaning.

Very nice product, well made. Has many uses apart from gravy. I personally use for capturing springtale from their breeding container. Springdale's are the natural choice for keeping fungi and other waste at bay - for ant breeding.Thanks for sending promptly!
