You could absolutely use them simultaneously. However, it might make the most sense to spray after you have aerated and then water. This will get the Thatch a Buster into the soil and break down the plugs. A lot of people will also use this product in place of aeration. Hope this helps.

How long does it take to see results?

You should definitely see results in a months time. Obviously, other factors can affect this. How much thatch does a yard have, how much water has the lawn taken in, what are the temperatures.
