Good product, no smell, cats like it and so do we.
After automating my home with lights, cleaners and other gadgets, it was time to automate the cats! There is a a serious point here, lugging tons of cat litter around and working 12 hour days means although cleaning the litter tray is a chore all cat owners take on, it did fall on the 'things to fall off the to do list' with obvious results. Also getting rid of waste of two house cats was getting to be difficult as the sheer weight of the litter tended to over stretch the capacity plastic bags used by the council for rubbish collection. Here we have a light weight solution that comes in its own disposable box. Its not like normal litter and I did have concerns that the cats - both of which are not known for liking change to their routine - wouldn't adapt. However they took to this immediately and I have had no adoption issues. They also like the little rake which scoops up the poop and puts it in the little box at the end and wait and watch for this event to happen. (Oh to be a cat!).There is no smell at all and you wouldn't know I have two house cats when coming into the house at all. Each box lasts both of the cats around 9 days. This is more expensive that normal litter of course as I am paying £46 a month for litter rather than £24 a month. However for my personal circumstances this is worth the extra 65p a day. There is a cheaper option with a plastic container and refills, so if you are consider this too expensive I would say check out that other option. In short then, a good product that the cats adapted immediately to and that means I don't have to change the litter on a daily basis.

Makes life easier
My cat and I live in a retirement flat on the second floor. The outside doors are locked with key fobs to open them; so he can't go outside when he wants to.I first tried a conventional litter tray, but the smell was horrible and i was forever cleaning it; so I bought this one. It's quite expensive, buying three at a time, but one tray lasts about a month, there is no smell and, apart from changing to a new box once a month, there is no cleaning, either. The silicone chips absorb fluid keeping everything dry. The cat likes it and so do I. A good invention!

Recently brought a self cleaning litter tray that used these refills. The product functions brilliantly. I’ve been to friends homes who use ordinary litter trays and it makes your home stink really bad. But with this product you hardly notice the smell at all. The blue crystals dehydrate the no.2’s and prevent the smell and absorbs the no.1’s and the Crystals seem to break down to a powder which gets covered by the unused crystals when the litter box cleans itself. Personally I scoop out the poops every couple of days just for maintenance and I’m getting 3-4 weeks out of a tray with one cat. Only problem with this product is the replacement crystals are crazy expensive so I don’t k ow how the cost compares to normal litter. But if you subscribe to the product to get 3 trays every 3 months it slightly reduces your costs which is something to consider when your buy one. But I’m very happy with this product and so is my cat.

Expensive but worth it to me.
I like not having to deal with the litter tray on a daily basis. When I agreed to having a cat, I was under no illusions, I knew the litter tray would be left for me to deal with, (no matter what the kids/hubby said) I agreed so long as I could have an automatic litter tray. I love that It doesn’t need too much attention. What I don’t like is when it comes to disposing of the tray, I think the creators should of added tape tabs that hold the lid in place so when you put it in a bin bag it stays shut. Other that that the trays are expensive for what they are, my cat recently hurt his paw, so had to stay indoors till it healed and so the tray was used more often than usual and after 2 weeks it needed changing, not great value. Other than that I’ve a subscription so they just arrive which is very convenient. Before I subscribed I experimented and found that Wilkos silica cat litter crystals work in the tray, so that’s a cheap way of re-using the tray, If you can be bothered.( I always use disposable gloves when I deal with the litter tray) empty your tray before the bottom is soaked, Dettol spray it and use paper towels to dry it before adding them, It worked just fine and is definitely cheaper.

LOVE this product - hides smells, cats love it BUT…
The price is EXTORTIONATE. Absolutely ridiculous. In 5 years the cost of this product has DOUBLED. In 2019 I bought the 3 pack for £40, which even then, was expensive, but I did it for my cats because they’re kings and deserve the best. Then a lot of life happened and I had to swap due to the cost. Fast forward to today, I’m sick of the current litter I use and looked into getting this one back. I can NOT justify it at £80 for the 3 pack. How can anyone afford this? I would use a pack a month with one cat, now I have 2, that’s £53 a month on litter, £640 a year. Insane.

Very, very convenient!
We have a Forever Litter Tray, but our usual supplier was out of the crystals, so I picked one of these up instead to try it out. It's very good - fits perfectly in to the Scoop Free Ultra Self Cleaning Litter Box, and doesn't require fitting the 2 plastic extension which came withe the Forever tray (I hate cleaning and refitting those). The litter itself is blue tinted as in the photo - our usual litter is blue Just the Crystals, and if there is any difference the cat doesn't seem to mind at all. When installing it you remove the lid and place it underneath the tray, so the tray sits inside the lid. When you remove it, you take the lid back off, place it back on the top and tape it down and bin it. It's a one minute process. The design of this essentially prevents you from ever even seeing the poo - when you remove it from the litter box the flap is down. It's more expensive than the crystals, but i am having an internal debate as to whether the increased cost is worth it, given how much more convenient this is - I am considering sticking with these instead!

Works as advertised
We have been using the PetSafe litter box for over four years. The box works perfectly as do the refills. With one cat, we find the refill lasts up to four weeks before changing. The fact that we have been using the system for that long is a testament to our satisfaction.

So easy and no smell.
So easy and no smell. A friend recommended to me and I do not regret buying one bit. It was more than I was liking to spend but it is well worth it. Cleaning a litter box is one of my least favorite things to do and this system is awesome for me.
