Fab colour!
Fab product! I used this about 3 weeks ago. It was easy to use and smelt lovely. My hair was actually in better condition after using it, rather than dry like normal hair dye. The colour, once it has oxidised about 3 days after initial colouring, is gorgeous. Really natural but has added back the reds to my naturally red/sandy hair. This is the first dye that has added back the red and looked natural and I've been using dye on and off for about 22 years! On top of all of that, I only needed about a third of the bottle so I have more to do it again! The colour has lasted well through washing and swimming twice a week and did not react with the chlorine - thank goodness! Highly recommended.

My go to product for home hair dye for the past 10 years - see below for my tips & tricks
You can't go wrong with this product - it's an amazing colour, it's colourfast (if you do it right), it's completely no nonsense, it has no toxic chemicals, it's quick and it's so simple to use that you won't go back to have your hair dyed and pay 20x times the amount for it!!!!! There's so much good to say about this - it does not cause (at least to me) any reactions of ANY kind. My hair is a bright colour of copper afterwards - but then I have fairly greying, dark blonde hair with already quite a few white streaks. Those white streaks btw turn a beautiful bright colour of copper! I have been using this same product for over 10 yrs and I sure hope it will never stop being made. I'll use it until the end of my days if I can. (not exaggerating, this is honest) how to use: I know people apply a border of thick cream to protect their skin so it doesnt dye - I never bothered after I accidentally got some on my ear and managed to remove it easily by rubbing my skin with a bit of fine salt. I basically make myself a nice evening in the bath - I apply the product direct from the bottle, using household gloves (using the same ones for years now), direct onto wet hair, then leave it in for about 45 mins. (that's what I do.) My tips would be: 1) start at the crown of my head because that for some reason takes longest to take the dye, so it will be weakest in colour if you do it last. and 2) don't bother putting a cap on your hair once the dye is applied - it does the job just as well without! Just make sure you've got wet but not dripping hair because the dye will otherwise run down your neck and cause a bit of a mess on your bathtub/bathroom floor. And a red or brown or black towel is useful to use after! 3) make sure you rinse really well bec' residue can transfer to clothes if you have not rinsed out super well.

... blocks of henna for 5 years and I've always loved the natural result and the beautiful colour that results ...
I've been dying my hair with blocks of henna for 5 years and I've always loved the natural result and the beautiful colour that results when light shines on it, but I absolutely dread doing it as it's messy, smells awful and takes the best part of a day. I ordered two bottles of this cream as my hair is quite long (about a third of the way down my back) but only needed one. I applied it over the bath with wet hair as if it were shampoo, a few splashes ended up on the tiles but they were easily washed away with the shower. I left it on for about an hour and it took around ten minutes to wash out - that's compared to having to leave block henna on overnight and then spending at least an hour trying to rinse it out, using a whole bottle of shampoo in the process. The resulting colour is fantastic! It's much brighter than my usual result (I have fairly dark hair), my hair feels healthy and it doesn't have that horrible smell! I won't be buying block henna again, this is definitely the one for me. If you want hair that feels incredibly moisturised as it does after using the Lush variety then use cocoa butter after, this is what they use to pad out the henna and form a solid block. The description says that this will wash out quickly but that's not strictly true, henna tends to last for quite a while. It provides a coating on the outside of your hair, which is why it makes it feel like it has a lot more body and doesn't damage it by permeating the surface. This coating will wash out over time but in all the years I've used it, often going six months between treatments, I wouldn't say my hair ever fully returned to its natural colour. If you have very light hair then this will give you a very, very bright result.

Perfect for natural redheads
Great product, easy to apply (definitely need to use gloves though!!) smells lovely and gives my natural red hair a real lift of warm coppery glow. I’m getting a few silvery /greys strands now I’m the other side of 40 but this covers them entirely and leaves my hair looking absolutely naturally highlighted. It never looks liked I’ve dyed my hair-at least no one ever has said it looks like that! , as it blends with my own natural red shades perfectly . I use it every few months as a ‘pick up ‘

Experienced with Henna, pleasantly surprised.
I've been colouring my hair with Henna for a few years now, I'm a natural red head but wanted a more vibrant shade as it's lightened as I've got older. I normally buy powdered Henna and mix myself with black tea but thought I'd give this a go. Being ready mixed definitely makes the application alot easier and it's a good consistency so easy to apply, the lavender smell is really nice too.I found the cap a bit rubbish so wrapped my hair in cling film and I left it for a few hours as I normally would. Washing out was alot quicker than with the powder mixture and i'm pleasantly surprised with the results, it's a really rich red, very nicely conditioned and doesn't have the lingering Henna smell that I'm usually left with. Overall very pleased but I'm curious to see how quickly it fades compared to my normal method.

I do my hair with henna (natural) however when roots show up its "do it again" and sometimes I just do not have time for muck and hard work. So this cream is god sent. It covers roots until it washes off however its exactly when I need to reapply again. I usually but a bunch and keep it and its a nice color and consistent too (unlike henna when you can get different results). So overall great.

Arrived early and the colour is still lasting 2 weeks later.
