Bottom line; Exactly fits a 1.5" Umbrella pole - no loose wobble at the tabletop.Wife wanted an umbrella over our wooden picnic table that sits in direct sunlight in late afternoon / early evening when we would most likely use it with the kids for a Grilled Burger / Hot Dog dinner. Totally agreed with her idea.After purchasing the umbrella and the sand-filled patio base-stand for extra stability, I was faced with the challenge of cutting a perfect circle hole in the center our custom-made wooden picnic table.After reading several reviews on 1.5-inch hole saws being sold on Amazon, I tossed the dice and bought this one.It couldn't have been easier! Done 100% in less than 5 minutes. A perfect 1.5-inch hole with smooth sides that allowed the umbrella pole to slide thru the picnic tabletop and be tightened into the patio base-stand. Absolutely no wobble.This was a "one and done" purchase for under 10 bucks so I can't talk about its sharpness over the long-term.The one piece of advice I will offer is: Use a slower drill speed than you'd think and let the blade gnaw thru the wood.Lift the blade up occasionally to clear the debris and renew cutting. You are cutting thru - not burning thru to make the hole. Take your time and do it right the first time.

Purchased this bit to save me having to look around in my tool room for a 2 inch hole saw. Needed it to drill holes and a few pieces of PTFE and HDPE sheets. Worked well on the holes were very clean minimum cleanup required. Anything short of metal I don’t see how you can go wrong with this. Only way it could be better is if it came with a plastic case.

Build quality doesnt scream lasts forever but for the price its a great deal. I bought this to bore large holes in some 3/4" plywood to use as zero clearance inserts for my shaper. I would recommend this on a cordless drill more so than a drill press. If your drill press has any kind of runout this could be very dangerous given it's large diameter. Overall, very satisfied.

This tool does the job. It’s a good idea to start the cutting process backwards for a cleaner initial cut, and then continue forwards. Be cautious, though. If your drill is set in drill mode, which provides high torque, this tool could mess up your wrist, especially when cutting through tongue and groove wood. The dust collecting bowl works quite well; it almost collected all the dust.

Wow I purchased same item different company with prime item was delayed several times over and over....over a wk...nah canceled the item so I tried this 1 and guess what received it next day with no problem...item is really good...mighty impressive 5 star's...worked great for my corn hole board

Good tool, well made. I'm using it to install 7 inch vent pipe from kitchen exhaust through the roof. Still have the roof cut to make, but so far, the tool has performed like its more expensive counterparts in the box stores.

Used this 6 1/4” hole saw to cut seven can light holes in tongue and groove pine. Worked very well. Two thumbs up!

I used this with my cordless drill to create a hole in my 04 Ram bed for a bed stack. I went slow and steady and it ate right through the plastic bed liner and metal for the bed. You can barely even tell it was used in the photo I included.
