Great product having any problems with your hands not being able to peel potatoes this is what you need very fast to use easy to use simply put Ur potatoes in water turn it on for a minute or two and it's done

Pleasantly surprised on the large size as most seem pretty small. And well pleased with with how well it peels. I tested potato's, sweet potato's and carrots. 5* There is a small clip at the back to attach the bowl to the base firmly together, which on first attempt was a bit fiddly due to getting used to dealing with something new and not wanting to damage it. But done once, you know the drill. Well pleased

I'VE USED IT NOW FOR THE FIRST TIME AND I LIKE IT AS I'M NOT STOOD THERE FOR 1.5 HRS SCRAPING SPUDS FOR MY TEA, ONCE MAINLY DONE I RINSE AND CHECK FOR BITS THAT NEED TO BE CUT OFF. THE ITWM THEN NEEDS A CLEAN AND A WASH UNDER THE TAP IS AN IDEAL ANSWER TO THAT A WIPE DRY AND YOU'RE DONE. WHILE IT WAS RUNNING I FOUND IT WAS STABLE IT STAYED STILL AND DIDN'T JUMP OR VIBRATE ALL OVER. FOR ME I'D SAY IT'S WORTH THE MONEY AS IT SAVES YOU TIME YOU CAN BE DOING SOMETHING ELSE WHILE IT DOES THE JOB BUT DON'T LEAVE IT RUNNING AND GO INTO ANOTHER ROOM STAY WITH IT.

The concept of this machine is very good. I bought it for my 87 year old father in October. By July it did not work. The motor had conked out. The reason I chose this one and not others is that I had bought one previously from another firm and the same thing happened. This one though came with a two year guarantee. Buyer beware, this is in effect a two year fictitious guarantee. I contacted the seller and said the machine was no longer working who then said to send it back and they would look at it. So far so good. I asked the seller for their address and a returns paid label who sent me their address but said they did not refund costs for returning goods. Why would I pay have the price of the machine in postage to send back a faulty machine, I would in essence be paying for it half again. My dad is 87 years old and can no longer peel potatoes himself. He does not eat a potato farm every day. This machine was by no means over worked, just rubbish. Do not buy...… and do not believe the guarantee which is basically voided by the seller telling you that you had to foot the bill to send something back which is faulty.

Works well. Saves a lot of time when trying to peel batches of small potatoes. Took a punt at this model as a replacement for a much older version (which had a nasty habit of throwing water everywhere). I'm happy to say that this one keeps the water inside the bowl! Having used one of these machines for years, I think that a lot of the issues that some buyers have suffered might have been caused by trying to peel too many potatoes at once. The peeler can jam up and break the spindle/gears. Damage can also occur if potatoes which are too large are introduced into the machine. Purchasers should also be aware that this is not really a potato peeling machine. It works by tumbling the potatoes and abrading off the skin. The net result is the same, no skin, but they look different. Also, leaving the potatoes in too long can wear the potatoes down to a paste - if you're not careful.

Not bad, not good. I used the peeler with small (1 inch) round potatoes, a little over a pound, and it took way over two minutes to get the job done. Then with a little bigger and still round potatoes, 2 pounds, and I had to run it for 4 minutes, stop, and re-start for a few more minutes to get the job done. Then with 2 inch not perfectly round (a bit oval) potatoes 2 pounds of them, the potatoes would stop spinning, I had to stop and go to get the stuff peeled after quite a while. The potatoes get peeled after a longer time than expected, but when it is done, roasting them in the oven makes a delicious dish. I found it a little hard at first to put the bowl on or off the base, needs a few tries to line it up good. Okay for the price, for occasional use.

Hate to peal potato’s this is a great device just the device I wanted and it works great That said THIS IS A EUROPEAN PRODUCT THAT DOES NOT WORK WITH AMERICAN POWER (you will need a power converter) It is worth the hassle

220 VOLT AND IF YOU WANT TO CONVERT IT TO 110V IT WILL REQUIRE A CONVERTER FOR $100 OR MORE.

Great product for the price. My wife really love it. Just remember to get the voltage converter.
