About three weeks ago, I switched to exclusive pumping (I had been only breastfeeding my son up until then, but I was concerned that I wasn't producing enough, so I switched to pumping so I could track how much I was producing vs. how much he was eating). After about a week of figuring out how much my son needed to eat, I discovered that he eats 35 oz per day and I produce 32-33 oz per day. My lactation specialist started me on Fenugreek capsules, but after one week, those didn't increase my supply. I then purchased the Milkful bars. I ate 2 per day for one week. Unfortunately, they did nothing for me. Note that I kept all other factors constant (i.e., same serving of Fenugreek per day; same amount of water per day; eating similar foods; etc.).I have nothing else bad to say about the product - they were everything I expected as an actual bar (reading the reviews helped prepare me for the size, taste, etc.). However, I just felt it was important to let other breastfeeding/pumping momma's out there know that unfortunately you may be like me, and these just don't work for you.

I have been using these for the past few babies I've had. About a year ago, I would say the quality in packaging and the consistency of the bars were better, but they still serve the same purpose. Every month (thanks to a certain visitor) my supply takes a huge dip due to hormones. I just eat one or two of these a day and my supply is back to normal. Would recommend for those that need a boost.

The product met expectations in terms of size, ingredient quality, and packaging. I was prepared for a slightly odd taste - it is a nutritional supplement, not a candy bar after all... Unfortunately it gave both me and baby gas.... will give it a bit of time and try again soon to see if it helps with the milk supply.

(Mike's wife writing here) I didn't know what to expect when I ordered these, but I ended up being a repeat customer. I wasn't making enough milk (around 25 oz per day and my baby drank 30 oz) so I decided to look into some easy supplements. These bars are really convenient while on the go, but even more important to a hungry breastfeeding mama, I found them to be really filling. If I was really hungry, one of these bars would fill me up for at least two hours. It was nice to not have to think about what other ingredients or supplements I should take since I felt like there are a lot of good ingredients in the bars.

The Milkful lactation bars help your supply, though I didn't see a large increase. I had complications breastfeeding, so I've had to try several products to try and increase my milk supply, while I pump. These help and are a tasty snack. My favorite is the chocolate banana nut bar.

I wanted to like these because I am a fan of the milk bars made by the munchkin brand, however these just taste terrible and are so dry to eat. I bought these for the variety of flavor but can’t even stomach eating them, I hate that I wasted so much money on them; I do not recommend these.

I really enjoy these bars. They taste good and I love the fact that they are also good in helping me produce more milk and are not harmful for my baby since I’m breastfeeding right now. I looked at a lot of different lactation bars and this one really caught my eye. I started with a small 6 pack and now bought the 15. I combine both the bars with Mother’s Milk tea everyday just to make sure I have enough for my little one.

Delicious and nutritious! I took a few to the hospital and started eating them from day 1 after delivery. These are great, for the first time I was able to breastfeed my 3rd child exclusively for the first month. After 6 months, I am still breastfeeding and enjoying it. I recommend to any mom trying to increase their supply. Glad that I came across these. Well done 😊
