Perfect.
Ordered late at night and it arrived the very next day. Fantastic service especially considering the postage is included in this amazingly low price of around £3.50 ( I think mine was reduced to £3.20 ).The instructions are very clear but to add a little more detail you simply drop it in water that is from a boiled kettle and has been left for a few minutes. Don't use water that is simmering in a pan or is actually at boiling point. Leave in this recently boiled water for exactly 40 seconds. Pluck out of the water with a set of tongs or something, quickly shake off the loose water ( to avoid burning the gums ) then quickly pop it on the top set of teeth and bite hard ( but not right through ( and suck all the saliva away as hard as possible whilst simultaneously pressing against the back of the gumshield with the tongue and pressing against the outside of the gumshield with a clean index finger.Mine was slightly loose so I had to repeat the process. The instructions state quite clearly that if you have to repeat the process just dip it in the same water for ten seconds.I chose yo ignore the instructions and put it in for another fourty seconds. The gumshield lost all of the shape I had initially moulded and had actually shrunk a fair bit. I was lucky to get away with it it fitting successfully this time. That was my fault.I recommend ordering at least two gumshields in case of accidental moulding problems. At this price why not.Over two decades ago I used these cheap gumshields for kickboxing and I would not consider paying a lot of money for one when these work so well. Nor would I consider one of those fancy coloured ones ( especially red ) as it makes it difficult for the ref or the teacher to see if the mouth is bleeding. The people who are giving bad reviews because they are "not soft enough" don't understand that a gumshield is not supposed to Cussion the teeth, it is merely to stop the lower teeth from smashing against the upper teeth if you are unlucky enough or careless enough to get hit on the jaw with your mouth open. Also to help prevent you biting through your tongue. They need to be strong not soft. Also most people giving a low rating are saying it's not suitable as a night time teeth grinding guard. It's not designed for that. It's even called a "Game Guard". Teeth move at night even for fully grown adults and I don't think they should be fixed in place with a sports gumshield. I am quite sure that there are special gum guards recommended by dentists for this purpose.Just one more thing. Many of the reviewers were saying that they had bought one for their child or teenager. They need to be aware that these should be remoulded (10 seconds in recently boiled water ) before every single use. These gumshields are very tight fitting and will push back teeth that are trying to grow and change shape.

Not suitable for my needs
Don’t buy. Its below 4 stars on site for reason wish id had listened to gut. So made without care for use in a mouth so it’s hard and uncomfortable.I wanted for grinding of teeth but wanted to try something I could start with and get used to. Solid plastic no give and for me and from reviews I’d say prob a teenager male item. My opinion and if like me feel can be used for other use. No it cant. It’s solid so prob does protect if fits.Price I think is low enough to give a go and comes in case if you go on to get another withoutThought it was cheaper just checked. So wasted that as there are cheaper if to try. Start with cheaper I feel till know what you need for your use. Some are sports use some can be used for teeth grinding etc.these are sports. ! Prob does say that?

Made me bleed
i bought the clear and the sparkly blue one. Its the first time I've bought a mouthgaurd so i don't know if what i experienced is normal or not.I'm 26 so bought the senior one for people over 13, however it felt too big (like it was pushing my teeth out). I tried the clear one first, and moulded it hoping that would make it a better fit and comfier once moulded, however during the 30 sec wait where its in your mouth i could see my gums around my teeth were all starting to bleed. It was gross but because it was the clear guard i could see the blood dripping down my teeth and puddling at the bottom of the guard... the guard is painful to use. I tried again with the blue one and the same thing happened :( Its really uncomfy and feels huge.I really liked the clear and sparkly blue colour of game guard, but sadly they didn't work for me.I thought id never be able to wear a mouthgaurd after the issues with this one, but in the end in a last bid attempt, i bought a sisu one to try where you mould the entire thing....and this is the only one that didn't cause bleeding. It fits and is comfy.

Safe and reliable
I am old and slow and so I take some massive hits. A few have been straight to the jaw/teeth. These mouth guards have never let me down so we now sell them in our rugby club. Easy to mould and you can re-mould them quite a few times. Parents at the club have been really impressed and now we sell them regularly. Fantastic for the price and fit snugly if moulded properly

Excellent value
This was a great price for a mouldable gum shield to be used for rugby. So easy to use with simple instructions. The gum shield was mouldable and fitted the teeth very well and was comfortable around the gum. Would recommend
