Learning Resources Hot Dots Jr. Numbers & Counting Practice Cards

Got this for my friends little boy who has just turned 4 years old. He loves it, but he was extremely dissapointed as the pen isn't included. This should be stated clearly when purchasing this item. He is currently unable to use it interactively until the pen arrives which I have ordered separately.

Love these cards that were purchased after browsing on Amazon and reading reviews. My 3 year old loves them and will sit happily working her way through them. This is a great starter set for numbers and counting...is there one for numbers to 20 and beyond I wonder? She loves the fact that they are interactive and I love that they are self correcting, but at this stage I work with her on them as she cant yet read the questions. I think the cards are great value and a very good purchase that she will use for a long time. You must buy the pen separately.

I bought this game for my grandson and he loved it. I also bought the pen that goes with it and when he presses the answer with the pen it lights up green, correct, or red, wrong. Very entertaining and helps with counting and number work.

I was disappointed that the hot dots pen was not included in this set, however that was my mistake and purchased separately.

We love Hot Dots and give them to all our grandchildren. There are different levels to suit everyone.

Very happy with these, my son loves them and loves how interactive they are. I love that the cards start off quite simple and then increase in difficulty, meaning that they suit a wide range of abilities and are able to adapt to your child's development. My son gets bored very easily but he played with these for ages and kept him engrossed. They also reduce his negative behaviour, as he's actively engaged in something that distracts him from his boredom.

The cards are great but was disappointed to find when my friends neice opened the box there was no pen inside ! Surely they should be sold together as a pack! Maybe suggest manufacturer do sets with or without a pen and customer has option instead of taking it for granted that pen enclosed. One disappointed 3 year old. Grandma since ordered pen.
