Perfect first dress
Nothing to dislike with this dress, my little girl is over the moon with it. Perfect as a starter dressing up dress. Toddlers do not need frills, a dress need to be comfortable and this one is.

Maisie loved the dress for her 3rd Birthday
The colour was just like Sophias dress in the story. The gloves and necklace and tiara brought shrieks of delight from a three year old child.

I bought this outfit for my 2 year old great niece as she loves Sophia, It was a joy to see the excitement on her face when she opened it, I am her best friend now.

Looks great but dont expect to get more that one wear
Looks great for a first wear, however do not expect to get a second wear out of this.Normally Rubies are pretty decent quality, however the seams on this dress disintegrate after the most gentle of washing.My daughter got this as a Christmas present and immediately put it on, and wore it for about 5 hours, and got the usual slightly dirty as happens during play, once she had gone to bed this dress was washed at which point it pretty much disintegrated splitting seams at the shoulder and waist.In short the dress is a write off after only a few hours wear. I have yet to break the news to a poor 5 year old that her new favorite dress is a write off after only one day - I am expecting tears.All told I am sorely disappointed by rubies with this item and have often chosen rubies for dress up and fancy dress items due to their reputation for quality, this time they have fallen exceptionally short of the mark
