Only used once since purchased and no issues. Works well.

Chose this above the closest comparable Biosch model, even though the latter was more discounted in price. This was because the Bosch reviews indicated that it was a bit fiddly having to keep two buttons depressed (or something along those lines). This is lighter than my old Qualcast and more efficent as I have finally managed to level out my hedge which I couldn't do before. This one cuts through the thicker patches with relative ease. I have only used it twice and happy with all aspects - except the cable length(!) which even when used with my extension lead, does not reach far enough to allow me to complete the job (having to use shears for those parts). Nevertheless, would recommend.

I have a powerful hedge cutter that I can extend., and it does the tougher jobs but its quite heavy. I had smaller Black & Decker cutter for smaller jobs which was great, but it died on me after many years. I decided To stick with Black & Decker again and so far it's been ok. It will be good value if it lasts as long as it's predecessor .

Good replacement for previous incarnation of the model which, sadly, gave up the ghost after umpteen years of service. Only criticism is that electric cable length is now shorter and it is slightly less convenient to lift up to the one actually trimming the hedge ( from the one holding the ladder ! ). Cutting blade length is about the same as is weight - very important for those with weakening arms !

Managed to chop through the cable on the 3rd use, however, I managed to carve up three bushes very easily and it even took a couple of think branches out.Would definitely recommend - mine just needs fixing!

bought this for my elderly husband as his very old hedgetrimmer was becoming too awkward and heavy for him. what a difference it has made !i cannot keep him out of the garden now, and in no time at all he had cut and trimmed all our untidy hedges and enjoyed using it so much he even offered to cut the neighbours hedge as well. a really light but efficient hedgetrimmer , at a really good price.

A brilliant trimmer provided the branches of what you are going to cut are not too large. I've struggled with a petrol hedgetrimmer for years, and I now realise I am daft, as this works really well and it about one tenth the weight, so is easy to swing around. It also starts first time (when you put the plug in!) and this is a definite bonus, so wins hands down on a petrol trimmer for cutting the more moderate stuff.

It's just the right size for medium sized hedges.
