Ideal size for gecko tank, great hide away

I've used Exo Terra hides in the majority of my tank builds, they're reliable and consistently great.The "Medium" size fits my adult Leopard Geckos fine. (9" and 11.ish" respectively).A nice powdered finish, I always wash them before putting them in to any enclosure.

nice size for my snake makes a good hide to put heat mat under so l can keep the correct temp ,easy to clean dry very quickly in the sun would buy again

I like:1) It is very hard wearing. Your snake will outgrow it before you'd need to replace it. I've never seen a 'worn-out' Exo-Terra hide.2) As the base is flat, and the hole is relatively small, it makes reptiles feel quite secure; as a hide, it's excellent.I dislike:1) It doesn't look that authentic. It looks like a piece of plastic, which has been designed to look sort of like half a rock from a distance.2) Given that this is essentially just a plastic lump, it's quite expensive.Just remember:1) As hard plastic is not a good conductor of heat, the inside of the hide will be cooler than the outside.2) Make sure that you get the right size. Reptiles use hides to 'hide' - and it's best to get a size that is just big enough for them to fit, and no bigger. This makes them feel secure. This size is good for a leopard gecko or juvenile corn snake.

Was a little to big for my corn snake viv atm. But definitely worth the buy as when lola my 9 month old corn snake grows she will need a bigger viv and this will be perfect for her. Definitely a good buy and good for the price

Our snake adopted this as its new home straight away. It looks natural but is made of a plastic substance. We didn't notice any rough edges (unlike other reviewers). It is easy to clean if needed and provides a great hiding place for smaller reptiles.

Bearded dragons love this product, it is very sturdy and is good at insulating heat for the beardies to sleep in at night. Cheapest place i could find this product and very prompt delivery. Slightly smaller than expected but big enough for me! Would reccomend for vivs up to 42'' otherwise would be worth buying 2.

Well-made resin/plastic hide, ideal for juvenile corn snake. I did have to slightly file down a rough edge, but other than this, this product is ideal. I heat my vivarium with a heat lamp, and some of the the heat transfers through the walls of the cave, making this suitable as a warm end hide.

Got this for my cornsnake. he didnt use it at first but as he gets a little bigger he gets more comfortable with it! The material is thin but durable and easy to clean. The colour in the listing made me hesitate buying it but the one i got was a nicer shade of brown, more reddish than in the listing!

This is the best hide for the price. Fits my adult leopard gecko wonderfully. I could not be more happy with this hide and the price.
