Good product. Butafter reviewing Alpha lipoic Acid in more ...
Good product .Butafter reviewing Alpha lipoic Acid in more detail ,I relised the advise on bottle to take two tablets a day could very bad side effects. This product has a half life of 3-4 hours. So needs to be taken round the clock as it lifts heavy metals from the body so it goes through blood brain barriers before being excreted. So for this reason it's not advisable to take only a couple of times a day and if you have mercury fillings.Still good product just more info should be supplied.

Gringo A La Carte
Gringo A La Carte. In kidneys problems the efective dose is difrent. The healing and detox symptoms are similar.Only when the kidneys filtration are 15% we have symptoms. When are 25% and for the first time have "energy" to fix and regenerate themselves, might be a "healing crisis"Alfalipoic acid is increasing the mitocondrial activity is reviving an old cell who was just surviving to thriving.Have a kidney test first.Buy the way, alfalipoic acid is regenerating the kidney filtration and are few studies already. The most versatile antioxidant. Water and fat soluble. Is one of the few antioxidants who can penetrate the blood brain barier and do his job there.Lower the dosage. 600mg is quite a lot.Try to take a quarter. Thats the mentenance dosage.Body wil use the less ALA for more important organs, brain, nervous system and endocrine system. For kidneys problems distilled water is a must. The inorganic minerals from water, can be utilised only by the roots of plants and converted through fotosinteza into bioavailable minerals for us.

Works for me!
I bought Alpha Lipoic Acid to relieve burning mouth syndrome where I experience a metallic taste. I've only just started taking them so will update this review after 3 months.UPDATE: It's now been over a month since I've been taking ALA and I am so pleased to report that it has worked. For the most part I don't get the metallic taste and if I do, it is only mildly and for a short while. I have now increased the star rating to 5.

Does Not Work, Dud Batch
I had been using this product over the last 5 months to aid in keeping my blood sugars/glucose down. For 5 months it worked very well. Then came the pandemic and it went out of stock. I bought the 300mg version of this product and it had absolutely no effect and my blood sugars rocketed. I blamed a bad batch and sent them back to Amazon. When the 600mg's came back in stock I bought them and this is also absolutely useless. You can tell it is having no effect whatsoever as my BS zoomed up and there is no strange smell in my urine. As soon as I took the Solgar equivalent, my BS stabilised and you could smell the ALA in the tested urine.Something has changed with the formula, it simply does not work. Months ago I would have given this product 5 stars, today I write a review warning you that whatever they have done to their formula, it simply does not work for blood sugars. Avoid.
