Pressure Cooker
I bought this as a replacement for a previous one that was exactly the same. I had had the old one for many years and was so happy with it l bought the same one again. I think the nonstick seems slightly better than the last one. It feels safe to use looks good and l get good results from it.

Not Suitable for All Induction Hobs
Had no problems with this Pressure Cooker until I replaced my Gas Hob with a New Induction Hob.The base isn't fully flat having a flat ring with a central void, so If your hob has a sensor in the middle of the magnets used to detect if there is a pan in place it will sense into the middle void and claim there is no pan in place.

Healthy Eating
Have used Presige pressure cookers for 25 years. It is a well know fact that cooking with pressure reduces cooking time and retains nutrients within food.A great investment which is good for your well being.Obtaining spares is easy.

Rubbish support from Prestige
Purchased this pressure cooked in September 2018. Within 6 months, the red plastic pressure indicator that pops up to tell you it’s come to the correct pressure fell out. Decided to leave it as it was still easy to know when pressure had been reached. Then, at random intervals, the safety pressure valve started to just drop out. Eventually decided to claim on the Lifetime Guarantee. Surprise surprise, this isn’t covered by the Guarantee! They told me that the parts to fix the pressure cooker could be purchased (came to around £10 including postage), and so I went ahead. Received a new pressure valve, but no mention or sign of the red indicator. Since then, the rubber washer next to the safety valve has has a bit broken off and now it’s not cooking properly. Have tried several times to get in touch about both the red indicator and the washer, but have been met with silence.Photo shows the washer that has now broken. Would also mention that the nut that can be seen in the photo requires regular tightening, or else the pressure release knob doesn’t work properly!Always thought that Prestige made the best pressure cookers, but will definitely be looking at other makes from now on.Update @ 21/7/2021I raised another support call with Prestige and they have got back to me. They are telling me that the washer which has split doesn’t have any effect on the operation of the pressure cooker (in which case, why is it there and why do my vegetables now need 3 minutes instead of 2 minutes to cook?) and anyway, isn’t a part they can replace! In addition, the red pressure indicator is replaceable, but they do not have any in stock, nor do they have any idea as to when they will be in stock again. Have suggested that, for the sake of good customer relations, they replace my lid, so will see how good Prestige’s customer support really is.

Easy Clean
Bought as replacement for previous Prestige Smart Plus which we had for over 10 years. Very good non-stick and so easy to clean. Very happy with purchase.

Perfectly imperfect
Prestige name is there for years but the quality is slightly down then before especially the lid is not easily locked

When It's Good It's Very Very Good.
As long as you get the lid to align with the top absolutely perfectly everything is brilliant. Trouble is, this takes a considerable degree of concentration compared to popping a lid on a saucepan. Get it wrong and steam puthers out everywhere around the top of the lid.
