Best damn picks I ever found. I’m an expert at dropping picks at gigs whilst I’m playin’ 3 chords and the truth - and I don’t drop these baby’s as much as any other pick on the market. I used to break strings too often so I went to a lighter pick and thinner strings - and I chose these. These picks are thin - but they have a ‘thick’ grip. Oh yeah. These are the only ones I buy. Check out my band to see me not dropping them. Please, I need the followers. Though I don’t know why as I can’t quite work out the correlation between followers on instatwat and ticket sales. But anyways, give me a follow as it gives me a little hope.

These are quickly becoming my go to plectrums. I've been trying lots over the past couple of years and I've found that these are a perfect thickness for me - sturdy enough for picking and flexible enough for strumming. The textured grippy bits are great too.

To write a review about a small item such as a guitar plectrum may seem trivial. But if you've struggled to find the right pick to the point where you've opted not to use one at all (for fear of going mad through frustration), you might have an idea of how it feels to finally find one that works well for you.I struggled to play steady shuffle strumming patterns on both electric and acoustic guitars using a pick. Like other reviewers standard Tortex picks kept slipping in my hand. Although after I bought a Tortex selection of picks I did find the yellow .73 and orange .66 thicknesses to be best for me - but not perfect, which how I arrived at this point.I'd recommend anyone who is experiencing similar problems to buy the Dunlop Plectrum Selection on Amazon. This contains a range of 12 picks (Nylon and Standard) in various thicknesses. It might help you identify the right pick types and thicknesses for your style of playing.I've read that most players move on to thicker picks eventually, but for the present the nylon .60 works well for me - great for acoustic guitar strumming, no problems with shuffle strumming patterns (which is a big confidence booster and helps me make progress as a player), no frustration caused by slipping picks and good for lead work on an acoustic guitar.Good service from supplier Dirty Riffs Guitar Shop also.

Wouldn't use any other pick. Great grip. Effectiveness essentially depends on how good the guitarist is, and the equipment used. It won't turn you into Brian James, but at least they won't keep flipping out of moist hands.

Whether you like the super flexi .60s or something heavier, these are a great compromise. The .60s I'd bought earlier were fine for strumming, but my picking is all over the place with them. These .88s are great for me when playing a song that requires both strumming and picking. One of the main reasons for buying them was the built in grip which I have to say works well. I really like these picks and will get more when needed.
