WEN WA120L 24-Inch Flexible Magnetic LED Task and Work Light Kit, Black

This task light puts illumination exactly where you need it.This is the third product I've bought from WEN and is consistent in quality of workmanship with other products of the brand. That is to say, it appears to be very well built.The machining of my light is flawless and the packaged accessories were without defect. The instructions are brief, concise and easy to understand.Several mounting pieces are included with the light that allow for a variety of configurations making the light quite versatile. Configurations include magnet to metal (images) surface clamp to non-magnetic work tables and surfaces (image). Accessory bases also include a tapered bench dog that allows the light to be used in the ubiquitous dog holes found in worktables and sawhorses.The rare earth magnet is surprisingly strong and securely holds the task light regardless of position. In the attached photos the light is magnetically secured in a horizontal position to my band-saw. It takes effort to displace/remove the light.Lastly, the light is powered by 4 AAA batteries. This makes the light a good choice for working on vehicles or if a breaker trips during a project in the workshop.One caveat - The description lists the product as being 24" in length. It does measure 24" end to end but the flexible neck of the light actually measures at 18". This is more than enough length for my needs but the buyer should be aware just the same.This satisfies a long standing safety need in my shop and I will likely order more.
