I have tried a few different brands of flossers and these are the only ones that ive not only liked, but am buying again. For me I like that they have a nice, mild minty flavour to them, they lasted me about a year and they are a good size and shape that makes them easy to hold. As someone who flosses sporadically, they helped to strengthen my gums, as when I first used them my gums bled from the flossing, but I actually noticed them getting healthier and bleeding less and less over time, so they definitely did something. I find the floss part to be the strongest ive encountered in a flosser. I had so many others that break or snap or just come out their holder completely. My teeth, in places are kind of tightish together, so pushing the flosser in took a bit of experimenting - i find if i line the flosser to the gap and gently bite the flosser goes in that way. It does mean though that the floss bends to varying degrees of looseness, at its most extreme rendering it pretty much useless even though technically its still whole. I find, on average I use 4 if I want to do all my teeth, though this can be more if the floss bends. They can still be used even at their most loose, but i feel it feels a bit weaker when flossing. It took a long time to figure out how to get the floss in between my wisdom teeth (slightly odd angle I guess) but that's probably because I hadn't done it before. In short, theyre not perfect and an adjustment period was required, but my gums feel healthier and stronger since I started, and they are hands down the best ive tried so far.

Difficult to enthuse about dental floss. I find this stuff easier to use than the raw string, and my dentist moans if I don't use something. These picks do the job, and are reasonably cheap for something I'm throwing away every day, trashing the environment. Sigh..

Very happy with this. The floss is super soft, strong and the plastic heads are small with no harsh edges that hurt your gums. It's exactly what I wanted and was delivered the next day. A household dental staple.

First off, these are my go to floss sticks. Very easy to use. A tooth pick on one end and a flosser on the other. The floss is flat and coated, but strong. I’ve only had a couple of the floss snap over the many years I have been using them. But that is all dependent on your own teeth! It has a very minor minty type flavour, not overpowering at all. It does make flossing quick and easier then using the string/tape type floss. I also have sensitive gums and have never had any issues using these.

We like these, work much better than the sting version, and have a nice minty taste too, the tape is effective at getting into the gaps on even the smaller spaces and is gentle on the gums, good if you have gum sensitivity. Reasonably price too so would recommend.

Having tested various types of floss on the reel, the FlossGrip Dental Floss Holder, and a few dental floss picks (like this one I'm reviewing), I'm still looking for the perfect floss. Things I like about this one: the floss is flat and silky, and it has flouride (although I doubt very much this is an effective way to deploy flouride to your teeth). I also really like the shape which is curved so it doesn't bash against gums like the FlossGrip. The toothpick on the handle end is brilliant; the point is very sharp but plastic not hard, so you can't hurt yourself. Price is keen, given there are 150 in a pack. Things I don't like: the plastic that holds the floss is a little flimsy, as such the floss itself doesn't stay tight by the time you've flossed a few teeth. Also the floss itself is quite thin, which means it wears out quickly - possibly before you've finished flossing all your teeth in the first use. In summary, a good design, but floss and plastic mount are not quite durable enough.
