RTOM AMGC Moongel - Clear (Pack of 6)

Moongel is the go to dampening product, it's a reliable and consistently well produced product. Last time I bought any was years ago (it lasts!!) so I was pleased to see it's still the same good product it has always been. Also really happy with it in clear. I don't know if its because my last batch is so old and I cant remember, but I'm sure it actually holds to the head a lot better than it used to.

Moongel is great for when muffling your drums and you wish to reduce overtones, or to just get a tone you are more happy with. These are easy to apply and you can cut them down if you require smaller patches too. The small tub is ideal for keeping them clean and available and I always keep one in my gig bag in case I need to adjust the muffling when out and about. Apparently these are able to be cleaned off under a tap, although I am yet to try this. They are a little overpriced, but you can't argue with the result you get from them and the ease of placement and when you have to move them too. They're perfect for metal snares where that overtone can be more pronounced or on larger toms too. Well worth considering.

Relatively new to drumming so I was a nip sceptical of these. But all I can say is they work really really well. They remove all of the overtones caused by my snare by only using two. They worked just as well on my cymbals too! Don’t hesitate to try these, they work and good quality. Highly recommended.

This product does what it says it will. The only problem is it seems like you have to wash them rather frequently, too frequently to be desirable. Other than that minor flaw they are great. I have been using these for probably two months and that is the only negative. Great value, great product, recommend the purchase.

Pretty unhappy with the state in which the product arrived, but otherwise the gels work just as well as they say they do. After opening the box, I put my fingers on the top and bottom of the case to move it. When I pulled my hand away, the ink of the logo on the top came off with absolutely no effort, leaving black residue all over my fingers. Then when I opened the pot, I found the gels to already be covered in dirt and dust, and in between. The photo doesn't quite capture just how much dirt is stuck on them. Pretty disappointed in the presentation. Otherwise though, they work. They sound good and generally hold their stickiness for some time.

Great moon gel recommended.

Product does as it says but I see that in the few weeks that have passed it has doubled in price a bit of greedflasion perhaps
