Hayao Miyazaki is an imaginative genius. All his movies are beautiful and creative, not like movies still produced today. Anything I have watched with his name in the credits has been worth every minute. I would say this one might not be suited for small children as there are depictions of war and death.

A good movie for fans of ghibli. Be prepared there is animated bloodshed and war in this movie though so it might be less suitable for a particularly young audience.

Some of the most beautiful images I have ever seen in a movie. The story is balanced and I will always enjoy watching again and again.

I think it might be too long for really young children. But I really enjoyed it.
