Just as good as live BBS
This jar of baby brine shrimp are just as good as live BBS, I’ve used both, I’ve hatched my own, although quite expensive, it’s just as good. No complaints here, all of my fish love it, even the adults go crazy for it, and in return, my fish are the best colours they can be.

Fair item, small
4 stars because it arrived damaged, with the lid dented, and started leaking. No horrendous odour or anything so I assume the damage was recent. I still think it's fit for purpose as it's fish food.My chili rasboras seemed to like this a lot. It was the perfect size for them and they chased it when I fed them.In terms of value for money, while I would have liked the jar to be bigger (think the little jam jars they give you in supermarket cafés with your toast) I found myself only using a tiny amount per feeding, so I think it will last a fair amount of time. (Plus I only have the one shoal of nano fish, if you have a large shoal or several tanks it might not be enough for you.)Around £6 seemed a little on the step size, but if it has the shelf like that other reviews claim it does, and with me only having a small shoal of chilis it's looks like it'll do for their needs - bearing in mind I'm also feeding them micro flakes and copepods, not exclusively this. It's in the fridge currently, sealed inside some tupperware and hopefully it'll last a few months.I think this will be useful for mixing up the variety of the food I give the chilis. I think it would also be useful for fry and other nano fish.I will maybe buy this again as it does seem good and the fish seem to like it.

Fabulous product.
Excellent product. I have 11 Fantail which I never intended to raise but hey ho, that sums us aquarists up- a few eggs in our aquariums and we all get excited! Even more so with an oranda or black moor spawning!!! After contemplating what to do with the eggs I transferred the plant that had eggs left before mum and dad ate the lot, helped them hatch, began with liquify No1, baby brine shrimp not available by me and as this was an unplanned spawning I did not have a shrimp hatchery set up, so, after watching a YouTube video about this, i ordered about the time the fry reached a week old. They LOVE it. As I only have 11 (was 12 but 1 was deformed) I shake the jar, take the lid off and with a clean little finger I scoop a very small amount and wiggle it in the surface water. Although it looks like a tiny amount, that tiny plop on my finger spreads very fast. I haven't had any die. They fill their tummies, swim around happily, helps with the growth of fins and with the water changes, these babies are growing perfectly. I have added a photo of one at 10 days afyer feeding instant baby brine shrimp, it shows fins producing nicely. It's also fantastic for pregnant guppies (they know what's good for them) and Neon tetras as they have trouble eating bigger foods. ( they do try though!) As for it spoiling in the time limit, it really shouldn't be used for longer that stated anyway as fry should be big enough to eat larger foods like Adult Artemia, Bloodworm, Daphnia etc.I hope this review helps. I find the product excellent.

Don't forget to turn off the filter when using this food!
This is an excellent product. If you turn off the filter and any aeration stones for about 5 minutes, then this food will form a light cloud in the tank, which gives the fry time to locate it and swallow the tiny particles. They love it. It appears to be very palatable. Once the cloud has dispersed after about 5 minutes, turn on the pump again. A little goes a long way so don't worry that the jar is quite small. Keep in the fridge after opening.

Absolute rip off
I completely misread the title and assumed it was live shrimp 😫😆... I mean instant brine shrimp is clearly a misleading name,My platy fry are 2 days old and I've been feeding them live baby brine shrimp which the go nuts for... this is just a waste on money because they look at it and dont care so basically I've paid almost 10 quid for a tiny fancy glass gar with some unalive bbsWay cheaper andbeasier to do live shrimp than these

Not attractive to Fish Fry who dont know what baby brine shrimp are.
The food is good quality and great for fish Fry who know Baby Brine Shrimp are food, however, due to the fact that the brine shrimp are dead, they have no wiggle factor, sink to the bottom quickly and therefore my newly hatched fry had no instinct to hunt them or eat them.I did feed this to fry that had already hade live baby brine shrimp and it worked as an emergency in the event of a hatch failure on the live baby brine shrimp eggs, but do not expect that your fry will respond well to it if they don't know its meant to be food.
